"That's good! It's been almost three weeks since you left, and you didn't bring any books with yourself, I'm worried about your studies and so forth! Also some younger acolytes miss you much. I guess one way or another you will be coming home!"

13772
There was a loooong moment of silence after the summary was ended.

"Oh dear. So it's been as the old data log said, huh. I should go on more reading binge. Speaking of technology! Could you visit us one day or another? We have found some kind of a Old Gods' device that could possibly be a weapon so I think it could be of better use for you?"

"What kind of device?" Demura's interest was picqued.

"And who's that??"

"I am who you call Demura, basically."

"You are an Old God?"

"Well, yes."

"Apologies if I sound unconvinced, you have voice of a shy schoolboy."

"..."

"Ha! You got told, eh? Well back to the device, it looks like a wand if it was partially curved like a crescent moon, with a top side a little bit bulbous."

"Does it have four buttons and a spike-like protrusion in front?"

"Indeed!"

"Then it's a phasor, a hand-held multi-use weapon of much power. Is it working?"

"...now that you told me its a weapon, like hell I'm going to play around with it! I will put it in a box and if you want it checked, be my guest and come here yourself!"

"I think Amberly and her friends can come over. It will be much easier that way. I will send my helper to check if the phasor is useable."

"Oh, is Amberly coming home then?"

13773
"But that apocalyptic coming of the other Old Gods have been averted, right? Or do you want to pass some bad news upon me which I certainly won't like?"

The Old General issued a simple order: CHAAAAAAAARGE!

Without fear for consequences, his compatriots rushed forth and in the very first moment of the charge Vurt-e jumped up and struck his spear into the body of William. The blow wasn't particularily deep but it pierced both the hard metal and the soft lard beneath, rending some organs and giving the blood the opportunity to flow outwards!

In the meanwhile, Lance Corporal Mooning, with fire burning in his eyes, managed to catch Astrah unprepared. With one blow of the sharp sword to the neck of the scaled man, Lance Corporal Mooning forcibly separated Astrah's body from his soul, earning a kill on his name.

Bob the Brute decided not to be a slouch either and set his eyes upon so-far-untouchable Getting the Sorted. And it have showed that even the magical cape of Sorted's ancestors couldn't stop Getting from feeling the brutal fury that was Bob the Brute and his axe, which struck him in the leg, causing a bone to be mangled and a couple of veins to be torn open, turning the olive linen of Sorted's pants deep crimson!

Unfortunately the reckless charge had a little side effect and that was leaving the attackers open to easy strikes. And one such easy strike was more than enough for Ulric to finish off the heavily armored Baruth the Beard - the large morningstar crushed the bearded one's head, leaving the skull a crater oozing chunky gore.

William saw his companion slay Baruth and took this is a good example. Lo and behold, William struck at Bob the Brute. The small blade of William's sword wasn't much of a threat but it managed to pierce the thick chainmail and deal a wound to the frenized Bob. Few more of these and he will undoubtedly fall dead as well.

And that was the moment in which the initial frenzy and advantage of the charge turned sour for the mercenaries fighting for Moon-Lovers, because O.Wilde targeted Lance Corporal Mooning. The duel, where Corporal had to go on defensive, didn't last long before O.Wilde struck his battleaxe into Corporal's body, almost cleaving his body in half at the intestines' height. With a scream of agony Lance Corporal Mooning fell, a gaping hole in his abdomen, a nice display of intestines and gore for all to see!

Team B continues to fight Fiercely!
Broseph Baker and Cap Ten arrive to help Team B!
Team A is at slight numerical disadvantage.

"Amberly?? Is that you?? My goodness, where are you? Wait, are you operating the machines on your own?? What did I tell you about fiddling with machinery! Are you allright though, and did you find Demura?

13777
"As you wish." Demura turned towards the giant floating map and his image got a bit fuzzy for a moment.

The map have changed shape into much smaller rectangle filled with white and black and grey meshy fluid that was making hissing noise.

"Hmm, their side must have the camera either deactivated or destroyed. This will be voice only I'm afraid." There was a bit more hissing before the fuzzy greyish mess turned into pitch black void and then-

"...what the heck did you touch!? How many times do I have to tell you bloody bastards not to push any buttons when you're cleaning the dust!"

"I swear to Old Gods that I didn't touch a button!"

"And why are those lights blinking! Stop staring and fetch me the manual!" There were two loud but soft clonks afterwards.

"Hello! Is this communications device working? And who's on the other side? Identify yourself please!" Demura looked at Amberly and waved his hand toward the black void.

"We will visit the weapons plant and take this cannon thing mentioned and I want a hand axe out of that mold thing you have mentioned."

"Sure thing." Margaret stomped away.

"I will continue to monitor the communications, unless the lady in hood wants to go with the conversation with House of Scholars."

"What do you say, Amberly?"

13784
I really hope you guys don't need swordstar's battleplan to deal with 2 enemies and bunch of tiles to move through.
