The group slowly made its way to the other side of the giant hall. As they have traveled, the floors near them narrowed, exposing chasms that went down for unknown lenghts. This made the already humongous silvery computing blocks even larger. Sometimes there would be a floorpath going between the blocks but the guardian of this place didn't even glance at them.

The automated pathway ended at a platform in front of a small metallic door with 'Z' patterned crevice on it. Boss made few beeps at which the door opened with a hiss, its halves sliding into the frame and out of sight.

Inside, there was another machine, almost identical in shape and size to the one that Amberly, Aiesha and others present in House of Scholars saw in its basement; this one was silvery, though.

The robot moved to the device and put the orb into a small alcove. The machine began to beep, click and hum.

Suddenly, a beam of light began to be projected from small black dot on the machine. First there was an oval shape, then there was a vaguely humanoid silhouette, and then there was...

"I am whole again. Welcome, natives, I am the one you know as Demura, but my true... wait... wait what??" The projection of Demura looked around, checking his hands, and legs, and then his eyes grew wide at the fact that he was hovering over the floor a bit.

"Margaret!?" Professor turned to the robot. "WHAT is the meaning of THIS??"

"I swear it was an accident.

Inside, there was a sight as magnificient as it was alien. Enormous hall, with no visible other side, was storing huge silvery blocks, as large as houses. Their frames were blinking with numerous yellow and green lights. Beeps, clicks and hums came from each one of them, making a symphony of hi-tech sounds. Numerous large panels were showing majestic sights; one was showing a yellow-red surface of a sphere, seemingly boiling, with explosions of flame shooting into darkness of space. Nearby numbers were growing up at the times of explosions and then coming down to thousands or hundreds of whatever units when there was no explosions.
Other panel at nearby block was labeled 'Mu Arae observations' showing large gaseous spheres arranged on circular tracks, with seemingly the same fiery orb at the very center of the order, unmoving; one tiny blue orb was in the line too, at third place, between two gaseous balls.
And then there was another panel, at another block, listing numbers upon numbers about something called 'atmosphere' and then another panel about 'stellar radiation measurements', and so on, and on.

Boss and the Captain were standing in front of a moving walkway, flanked by two wider, normal solid pathways.

"Wooooah. What the heck. Whaat?"

_{"But those are just datacenters..."}

"Whuuu?" The red robot looked at Ethan, and then stepped onto the moving walkway. It begun to carry him away, deeper into this huge hall.

"Well only his body was in the cryostasis pod while his counsciousness is stored in the positronic computer mainframe so I can always wake that up... _{I'm just not sure if Professor will be happy with what have transpired while he was asleep.}"

"Oh. That's very sad." And there was a sad beep.

"However how did you come into possession of Orb of Recording?? And how come you do not have Orb of Communication? They were stored together."

"Uhh, actually, we got it from this old senile guy during out of our... work assignments. He was very protective of it. It was near the city of Di in the Greater Pleiades archipelago. Then we went to House of Scholars to appraise it but the grumpy lady who runs that place played us Demura's message and well I decided to go where it told us to. And that's how we are here."

"Oh. Then it means you shouldn't be here. This is very alarming. The orbs would be released only in times of immiment danger. Not only that, because you had no clue, and my radio isn't working, I'm not even sure how much time we have left. I have to wake up Professor DeMurray immediately- oh. Oh dear. Errr. Would you, uh, are you tired maybe? Do you want to, uh, rest a day or two?"

"What? Aren't we in a hurry? Why the change?" The robot paused for a moment.

_{"No reason."}

Ethan fished out the Orb of Recording and then held it out for the robot. Boss took it after a brief consideration and inspected it.

"But that's NOT what we have agreed upon in terms of re-establishing contact!"

"First, the Orb of Recording and Orb of Communication would be released from storage alcoves when a signal arrives from the espionage satellite Stella, then, under guidance of the Chief Historian of Demura Vault, a group would carry both orbs here. Kraken would let you pass, minefield would be deactived, and then you would disembark and a guide from the sentient species called the centaurs would be selected and they would-"

"WAIT wait wait! Demura Vault??"

"That's where we stored the Orbs, yes, plus a supply of laser cannons, radio-suits and other devices. If I reckon correctly, the last time I could establish radio communication with the outside, you natives have built a huge temple over it."
