Leosheila Cieralec:

The man scratched his cheek.

"So, you buying anything?"

@Fezz:

A trio of middle-aged men were feasting heavily but drinking little, so Fezz found a fountain of knowledge.

"And where you have been hiding, boy, that you did not hear the good news? The Red Castle of Kretos have fallen! Forces led by Count Garaz and Commander Oggal seized it! The cowardly Yonn has been slain and the Isle is going to be under Imperial banner in matter of days! The rebellion's spine has been broken!" The first man raised a mug of ale in toast, before his companion, with orange beard, waved.

"Hmph! I heard that Commander Oggal has secured Yonn's life as comfy prisoner in a remote castle, and that's why that Kretosian boy sold his men to the Empire. The Red Castle couldn't fall in any other way than by treachery of its lord."

"No, you got the messenger wrong. The third one spoke, smirking and showing his yellow teeth. "I heard that this Matilda girl have left Yonn who couldn't protect the Castle on his own, was slain, and the castle fell because Matilda let Imperial soldiers in. Clearly, the two were in love and she saw him with another woman, and that's why the Mireosian princess-"

"You are drunk already!" The first of the three spoke with a laughter in his voice. "I for one believe that the rebels have been crushed in a fight, and that's it. You guys just want to make a fairy tale of a military triumph." The third man shrugged.

"I will ask my sons when they return from Kretos! They will know for sure."

"To the death of the rebel scum! For the return of our children!" The three men now toasted amongst themselves.

@Aleciera Sheileo:

Both couples inadverently ended in the only weaponsmith that was open for business.

"Welcome. I have some iron weapons available."

Laura replied with a nod. Soon they walked down the town to Nikolai's place or whatever it was they were resting for the last night in this city.

Laura kept the basket of foodstuffs in one hand and Albert's arm in second.

There were words on the glass panel but from there Lucrezia couldn't read them.

Elanore looked down the vast pit. Numerous pipes were coming from one side of the chasm to the other, but the pit wasn't well lit and thus, if it had any bottom, it was simply not in Elanore's sight. Occassional hissing noise of steam or metal clanking came from the depths.

And so!

After three and half hours of wait, they've set for the city of Elam, deep in Imperial lands.

~~Intermission B: Triumph and Loss~~

Thanks to the mountain crossings and overconfidence of the Empire, the mountains weren't guarded that well. Everyone and everything oft slipped past the border outposts - like Julius and his friends did just now.

They've entered the city of Elam by late afternoon, accompanied by orange sky and the sun setting low. Elam is a bustling trade and religious centre. And, as the travelers soon found out - it was full of festivities...

Off-duty soldiers were dancing with inn maidens while patrons, old and young, men and women, chanted and sung and drank heavily. Streets were decorated with colorful cloths and flags while musicians and bards sung long tales and bawdy songs. Soon the travelers reached the main marketplace of the town which was now made into feasting and dancing stage for the local populace.

That is a strange moment for festivities, though. The closest Draconic festival was over three weeks away from now and the Emperor's Birthday was six months ago.

The townsfolk had some other reason to celebrate so gaudily and lavishly in middle of the civil war - something terribly important must've happened.

//RP and shopping time till Friday (18th September). Please remember to do inventory management in OOC thread as well.

"If anything, we will have extras for later, Albert. Or you can just eat them all."

There were pieces of oil-stained metal with black and colored thing ropes sticking out of them.

~~Allies Turn!~~

"I kinda hope we don't meet more of them. They were quite vicious. Snakepeople were walk in a dock compared to... these."

And then Candy tripped and faceplanted the hard, cold ground. Clearly some divine fates have been rustled by him a moment ago.

Renault coughed.

"For what exactly, Leo?" He crossed his arms.

14965
"Therefore I proclaim you a wife and her husband. Rejoice." Said Renault, ever-so snarkly.

14966
Renault let out a sigh, then turned to Leo.

"Leo Belmonte, do you accept this woman here, Sheila Vega, as your wife, and promise to care for her homestead, remain faithful to her and only her, and love her unto death and beyond?"

14967
Renault, after a lengthy moment (just in case), turned toward Sheila.

"Sheila Vega, do you take this man here, Leo Belmonte, as your husband, and promise to protect him from harm, love him unto death and beyond?"

* Haspen pokes PowderMiner and Ochita :v

When everyone sat down, Renault cleared his throat once again.

"We meet here, on this desolate mountainside, to witness the union of Sheila Vega, and her beloved, Leo Belmonte, and it's my honor as a captain of the ship Cruel Bodice or rather what's left of it to lead the proceedings. There are no gods on the sea, but may whichever deity is watching us be a witness to this union. If anyone has anything against this marriage, may they speak up or be silent forever."

Did my army get lost in the mountains between #45 and #70?

No? You've sent one army from 45 to 70 and then the 70 army to 76, where it helped build HQ :v
