"Right, we go!" The ship slowly resumed it's journey.

Mostly because there was almost no wind present.

And then there was a catastrophic event occuring!

The sea water went skywards with a thunderous roll coming from the depths. It looked as if someone exploded a gunpowder hold; but the explosion was hundred times larger.

The Blackbones heaved and creaked as the aftershock wave smashed against it and tilted it, sending numerous people tumbling; Aiesha landed on Beryn's face after the rider smashed against the railing, Fer and Elanore somehow got tangled like a pretzel, Baurus tumbled down the stairs to the deck below. All others were knocked down onto the deck.

The ship was lifted and then sailed on the rogue wave for several lengthy seconds.

And then it was quiet. The weather was still cloudy, but there was silence. The sea stopped boiling, the underwater flashing ceased, and nothing threatened the ship anymore.

Ethan stood up, leaning against the steering wheel, rubbing his ears as they were ringing painfully.

When the last tentacle crashed into the water, crackling with energy from the hole made by Elanore's powerful blast of magic, Ethan looked around, distressed.

"Everyone here?" He paused, counting heads. "Good, now-" Loud noises of hissing and bubbling came from the water, and Ethan leaned over the rails to see what is happening.

Something huge, a bulbous silhouette, was flashing in the color of Amberly's suit. The bulbous, flashing form had at least twenty little appendages suffering the same fate.

The water around the ship was hissing and sizzling, and steam began to raise.

The sea was boiling.

"Let's get out of here! Aiesha, Baurus, Cetus! Help others!" Ethan then run up the deck, toward the steering wheel.
