"Apologies... this was supposed to be classified knowledge, though." She let out a small sigh.

"The Eyes, in cooperation with the Church, has, according to the tale I once hearrd from a fellow commander, some kind of underground settlement where bright minds prepare new weapons for the Empire. That is all I know. I don't even know where this place is, at all. You would've to possibly interrogate a very, very high-ranking Church official or maybe Eyes' operative, if you ever got close to one. These people are elusive."

Fyra looked at Julius with a grimace. It didn't seem like she was willing to spill the beans.

"This is a second I have noticed. Not a strange thing, considering the-" She bit her tongue and went silent.

"If there are any left, I never heard of even one of them." Suddenly, the whole cave was hit by a mild tremor! Rumbling echoed across the tunnel and tiny bits of stone fell from the ceiling, spooking the animals, especially Bree. The shaking lasted mere two seconds before everything was calm again.

"That's another of these strange tremors..." Fyra muttered to herself, keeping cool through this sudden quake.

"Forsakens are gone for over eighty years now. That's what you get for trifling with dark magic and summoning creatures to your castle. Said castle standing at edge of the Wasteland didn't help them either. The ruins still stand, foreboding and full of treasures, rumors say, but rarely anyone visits the place. It's simply too dangerous."

"Stay here for five days. By then I should be back or at least send a message. If not, then assume I was caught and that you should evacuate immediatelly. Like I said earlier, there is abandoned mining outpost north of here, and some shacks are still standing. You should be able to find a blanket or two."[/quote]

All done. Two more players including the unfortunate one who will have to sacrifice a point into leadership :P

"WAAAOOOOH!!" The ghoulish creatures screamed and shambled toward the group.

"There goes diplomacy. I hope they can get killed as easily as humans. Keep your eyes open for the shard! The mirror's glow was quite intense last time I checked. Remember, it can be in a piece of jewellery or a single crystal in a pile of dust, or a big chunk laying around."

~~Player Turn 1~~

Objectives: Clear the map of enemies!

Both in. In test scenario, there is no 'supply room' so you guys can customize your Spartan load-out as you wish, just keep your rank in mind.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Imperial Starfighters test!

Hi!

I'm here to ask people to help me test this vague mix-up of Freespace and Fire Emblem and whatnot mecha games that I have created. I need 5 people, including one Squad Leader-able (more on this in spoilers) character at least.

The test scenario will have a scouting mission gone very wrong. Mind you, this is a game where pilots are easily replaceable upon death so PC's dying will be common thing, so don't get upset that you die few turns in (not to mention, this is just a test). Y'all be Imperial Starfighters, bound to serve and protect the Core Empire from the democratic rebel scum that occupies the other side of this arm of the galaxy. This is all fluff, which you can also read upon in spoilers, which contain basic rules of the game, character creation, combat, et cetera.

Spoiler: Rules and such (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Crude fluff stuff (click to show/hide)

Tester List:
Corpse Leader: Kircheis Wen-Li (GUNINANRUNIN)
Corpse 2: Alicia von Braun (GiglameshDespair)
Corpse 3: William Buster (BladeMasterModel42)
Corpse 4: Samix Javicus (Taricus)
Corpse 5: Michael Grey (Gentleman Raptor)

"We should continue." Prince spoke merely five minutes into the rest.

"This way." He led the group through the corridor. Soon, the patchy roof was a singular, metallic surface with not a single hole in it. The glass windows, mostly broken, were high on the walls, near the ceiling, illuminating the place well.

They've arrived at a junction. Prince Aliberti looked at big, flowing, white writing done with chalk, it seemed, or something similar. The Prince stared intently at the alien, bizzarre script for a while.

"The artifact doesn't seem to work on written words. A pity, I wonder what it says... probably just a welcoming sign or directions, maybe?" He shrugged, giving one last glance at the writing, that the natives could easily decipher as 'SUCK MY ASS NIGGA~!'. He pulled out the mirror and rubbed it, and the golden shine pointed toward the left. Prince followed, taking everyone with him.

Finally, they've arrived at a rather large room...

~~Chapter 1: Welcome to Springfield~~

Deep inside the Federal America Nuclear Munitions Centre #5, brave aliens - visitors from different universe - have closed upon a small piece of their godly artifact. First, however, they had to deal with the natives once more... or rather, whatever the natives became!

A bunch of ghoulish, scarred, partially melted humanoids stared at Prince Aliberti and his entourage. The creatures then began to growl and hiss, as if trying to scare off the intruders.

"What are these? Undead?" He asked no one in particular, unsure who in the group might have any knowledge in that category of dark magic.
