Mediterranean League:

The cabinet of the League was more sober; fortifications were built near Venice, and the capital of Neapol and its surroundings were strengthened as well, as youths were trained in combat.

Mediterranean League is sending urgent messages of friendship and offers of scientific or mercantile cooperation with two closest non-affiliates of Holy Roman Empire, that's it, Republic of France and Byzantine Empire.
