Sounds easy enough.

Give me Green for Persia.

Gotta specify which Persian territory though, there's 6 technically 4 available for starting.

First of all, let's get topical.

You start out in a middle of nowhere, and have 24 Turns to develop your land, colonize nearby territories, gather wealth and resources, build monuments and perhaps knock down a peg or two that bastard obviously trying to out-wealth you.

Playerlist:
1. Kashyyk (Yellow, North Egypt)
2. Fluffe1911 (Skyblue, Western Anatolia)
3. stoirtap (Green, Northern Persia)
4. A_Curious_Cat (Red, Southeastern Mesopotamia)
5. MonkeyMarkMario (Brown, Southern Nubia)

Sounds like 'Kohan: Battle of Ahriman' which had one of campaigns starting with a tribe of lizards in a jungle fighting against evil-lizards or something. There was multiple 'factions' to play as and most of differences boiled down to color of capes and abilities of mages.

1744
Seeing that the battlefield was mostly under control of highly skilled crew, Ethan loots stuff at G11

I will point out that we aren’t exactly in a state where arrogance is warranted. Also, none of our heirs would pick Ged, since they would not be responsible for re-founding the city.

Hm, seems a reasonable way of thinking.

Equally dramatically, Argos' sword was pushed away by a flash of purple light.

Quote from: Argos vs Evil Andertz Coldside
Hit: 97-20-25 = 52
Hit roll: 20, hit!
No crit roll
Damage: Negated!

Evil Andertz Coldside counterattacks!
Hit: 85-28 = 57
Hit roll: 13, hit!
Crit roll: 35, no crit
Damage: 36+2-2 = 36dmg

The counter-blast sent Argos flying, his skin sickly greyish and eyes white - as if his soul left his body!

Argos was knocked back to 13.5!

"What the-! Argos!!"

Magical healing light descended upon Argos!

Quote from: Alixia heals Argos
10+10 = Up to 20HP healed

~~Enemies Turn!~~

The boy, silently, ran into the trees and then launched a blast of magic at Adrienne!

Quote from: Evil Andertz Coldside vs Adrienne
Hit: 85-10-29 = 46
Hit roll: 85, miss!

The dark miasma missed Adrienne.

It didn't miss the trees behind her, which decayed instantly as the smoke washed and dissipated over the trunks and branches.

"STaND StILL!!!" The evil child shouted with a high-pitched shriek.

~~Allies Turn!~~

"What in all hells was that!?" The Countess rode forward suprisingly cautiously.

Prince Aland and Orf followed suit, the latter avoiding the blast area by a wide arc.

PLAYER TURN: 7

IC Thread is here!

Three years ago, a young man named Cedric von Sachsen has risen in rebellion against Queen Sophia of Angeborten, swiftly exposing the treachery that she used to rule her subjects with iron will through the hands of her Consort. It was a struggle of epic proportions, numerous betrayals and dissappointments, and bloody battles. Now, as Cedric's lack of skill at governance and unstable behavior begins to show, fears rise amongst populace that yet another civil war might strike Angeborten, already devastated from previous conflict.

But this is not that story.

Three months ago, the combined forces of Herzgottia and Sterlitz rushed across the border of Inselkonige, ready to push the invaders from the north back into the sea. Common soldiers and upper class noblemen, united in purpose, are ready to sacrifice their lives in the name of Sigismund the Man-King to achieve their goal, or die trying. A war on scale that wasn't seen on the continent in generations is about to unfold, taking place on land, in the skies, and on the seas.

But this is not that story, either.

The story we will follow begins on an afternoon in a remote castle near Gallian-Tatalian border. A Gallian Princess is visiting her best friend and cousin, a Tatalian noblegirl named Cecilia. Their joyous meeting and occassion for frivolties will soon be violently interrupted. Their tragedy will sow the seeds of an even larger drama that will see betrayal, bloodshed and death across both borders...

We are top-dog in the city and around it.

Therefore we must pay respects to the equally top-dog in the heavens.

You raise your sword high and proclaim that you shall indeed lead the men to victory!

The gathered nobles cheer enthusiastically.

Congratulations! Velarien has embarked on a military campaign!

During his absence, the Queen, the Advisor and the rest of the court will maintain the kingdom to best of their ability.

807 AD, Mid-Spring

For the past two weeks your army marched through western Bailemarr and then through borderlands of Gon.

The resistance was minimal so far; the largest fight was between your main forces and a group of four hundred mercenaries, led by a local leader. Over five thousand against not even five hundred didn't go well for defenders.

Several hamlets, smaller keeps and unwalled towns 'bent the knee' before your armies. You learn a lot of information about the affairs in Gon; King Ernik has reportedly fled when a peasant mob approached the capital, and is hanging with his forces in the north while the rebels are ravaging the countryside. The wealthy south of the kingdom is amassing mercenary forces, the local, wealthy cities eager to protect regional wealth. Rumors arrive that Ernik's thrice-removed cousin or some such has raised his banner in far west of the country and is going independent.

So, it seems that most Gon forces are elsewhere but east, where you are.

Your commanders and fighting nobles convene with you.

"We need a direction, my lord." Says one of the officers. "King of Gon is in the north, the capital in the west of here, and the wealth of Gon is in the south."

"Obviously!" The Marshal steps forward. "We capture the capital! Who holds the hill holds the lands below it, they say." Some officers nod and murmur in agrement.

A) "Neither rebels nor the cowardly king are the force we must deal with! We go south and conquer the wealthy cities before they become too strong!"
B) "Once the King submits, the entire Kingdom will be disgraced and unwilling to fight. We ride north!"
C) "Capturing the capital ought to give us the most advantageous position in dealing with whomever shows up!"
D) "For now, lets just fortify the borderlands we captured, and send scouts and agents to neighbouring provinces."

1752
A because that will show our neighbours that we're rich and confident enough to support multiple wives.

1753
That puts us at
abb abb abb
abc abc abc abc

Doesn't seem like any more votes will be showing up, so.

You opt for a fast attack into the Kingdom of Gon, to sweep across its lands, destroy its armies and conquer it in its entirety. The noblemen are awed and murmur happily at your ambitious plan, but those commanders who have some military experience twirl their moustaches in slight consternation.

The Marshal soon speaks up.

"My liege! Such a grand war requires a noble leader! Will you lead soldiers of Bailemarr to glory and victory!?"

A) "AYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
B) "Um, no, that's your job actually!"

1754
Oh huh, mesopotamians usually lacked dynasty names as they were tacked on by later historians, I think.

EDIT: Added a more plausibly sounding dynasty name, indicative of birthplace.
