You can have alliance with everyone if you can manage that :P

Alliances bind 2 people per treaty so 'friend of my friend is NOT my friend' scenarios can happen.

The horsemen rushed forth; Brisker slashed at Fer, who went a bit too far forward! Only by some divine grace, Fer didn't get massacred to death by the horseman's scimitar.

"Blast that Carmen, she screwed up our pincer attack! Where is she..."
