@Cetus:

No one bothered Cetus on his way to the ship, except the warm breeze of the ocean fussing his mighty hair.

@Alicia:

The tavern called 'The Shanked Ear' was crowded. Many were drinking, sharing tales or just resting. Most were sailors, rest were weary travelers and citizens and other folks.

Bonii in the same tech tree are not cumulative, IIRC.

Ye v: Explosive shells (+1/0) get replaced by Prim.Tanks (+2/+1) and then by Adv.Tanks (+3/+2).

My dog had his bladder stone removed surgically after struggling with it for months. The vet said it was rather strangely and rough-shaped and propably caused extra pain as well. He looks happier already, and so do I.

@Barricia:

Both got their weapons.

@Cetus:

The elderly sage patted his beard for a while, glared at the crystal then let out a sigh.

"I guess there's no helping. I have to turn you away. Woe, my reputation is shattered. All because of a damned crystal." The sage grumbled.

"Unless, I guess, you shall depart with the crystal to the House of Scholars. That's where I was taught my skills and where I read enlightened tomes of old. I doubt you have any other places where some knowledge about this object might reside. It is in the mountains south-west from here, overlooking the desert..."

"Ah, an orb! Not a common sight but nothing rare either. I shall tell you in few minutes." He then placed both hands on the orb and rubbed it about in many directions, his eyes squinted and his lips muttering some incantations.

He then rubbed his chin and intently stared at the crystal. Then he pulled out few books from under the counter and started quickly flipping numerous pages, his eyes going left-right at almost lightning speed.

Then there was more staring.

Then he mumbled some spells and the orb was electrocuted with red and blue sparks. Afterwards, Aristablos let out a loud hum as the orb remained unchanged physically and possibly, magically as well towards the sage.

"Just a minute." He went into adjacent room and brought back a book older and larger than any tome. He began flipping worn, yellowed pages, his eyes glancing at the orb, at the book, the fingers almost automatically changing pages.

Lengthy minutes passed before he reached the end of the book. The elderly sage placed the book on his lap, stared intently at the orb once again, and let out a resigned sigh.

"I have no damnedest idea what this thing is. It's magical, for sure." He replied already known fact with annoyance in his voice as wrinkles formed a mask of anger on his face. "Where did you find this blasted crystal?"

@Cetus:

Aristablos was an ancient man, with flowing white beard, twice longer than anything Barry was ever sporting. It was so long that the old sage tucked it behind his belt. The bright azure robe was tightly fit on his tall but thin frame.

"Welcome in the abode of Aristablos the Sage. Study and recognition of even the most obscure magical items. Fifty five years of experience! I even served the royal family with my skills. How can I help you, young one?"

It took almost two days to get back to Di; Blackbones was an agile and fast ship.

~~Chapter 1: Land Rats~~

Upon arriving in the Port of Di, all appeared serene at the first glance. However the Fate already had trouble prepared for the crew of the Blackbones.

Ethan took a deep breath and grinned at the sight of several, flag-less ships standing amongst merchant vessels or military ships of New Alvada.

"Good to know we're not the only ones successfully raiding foreign ships. But enough of that. I have some jobs for you, folks." He turned toward his crew.

"Cetus, go to the temple district and find Aristablos' workshop and ask him about the orb. Pay him if he asks for coin. Baurus, Aiesha and Alicia, check local apothecaries and weaponsmiths. Spare weapons and extra medicine will be useful in our next raid... Aiesha, you go for medicine, Alicia and Barry get the weapons. I will be at Admiralty's estate if you need me." With that, Ethan waved at his crew and marched in the direction of the city garrison and other important buildings.
