Wijayot armies built a HQ, without protection, right at Middelheim border... and an academy near the Lototzkan lands.
@Podgorica:
King of Podgorica authorized creation of a new military HQ near the capital province, and an academy near Etrosaean border.
@Middelheim:
Middelheim constructed fortifications and sent one army from Etrosaean border to protect the capital.
Then, the republican armies, not going to waste a chance, seized Wijayot province of #20! Military equipment from the newly built HQ will only boost Middelheim war efforts...
@Mirera:
..if an invasion force from Mirera wouldn't strike! The armies of Grand Princess seized Province #44 and conquered #20 - with slight losses and destruction of the HQ - within few hours after ambassador of the neighbouring Republic was notified of the declaration of war.
Grand Princess was heard saying; "It is our duty to help the international community of civilized nations and put an end to the bloodlust of Middelheim."
Then, a network of railroads and fortifications was created, no doubt to quicken the deployment of forces and prepare against possible Middelheim retribution.

After a railroad line from farthest reaches of Astmalmo to the mountains was constructed, King-Elect ordered several armies to rally in Province #34, but no further orders were given.

The door gave way; inside, there was nothing expect a thin layer of dust and a rusty trowel on the floor, forgotten by everyone. The lighter shade of gray clearly indicated the walled-in section, that was once leading into the 'ghoul room'.
