@Dustine:

It took Dustine two minutes and few questions toward passing people to locate a spellbook maker. The elderly wizard running the shop had quite a selection of various books.

@Miguel:

"Righto. Have a nice day." The arena master mumbled, drawing a straight horizontal line on one of his numerous papers.

"Freshest medicine here!" The young man behind the counter, with wonderfully glittering, oily handlebar moustache spoke in chirpy voice.

@Ayleen:

No one had an idea about that. Especially that no one knew what these numbers were to represent; and if they were dates, what kind of dates were they? Weeks? Days?

@Dustine:

The fletcher was, unfortunately, a narrow specialist; he is making bows of small size.

@Leila:

"Err, no, tha's the thing. Haven't seen 'im in half a year, and he an' his ship often came here every few weeks. Prolly got sunk or sumthin', but who knows." The aide explained dispassionatelly.

@Leila:

No captains seen the man nor the harbor master did.

His aide, equally old, bearded, rum-smelling man, however...

"Ya mean Capt'n Thavegan? Bright green 'air, lookin' loike big damn hero of old, scorin' ladies by tens, prolly havin' few kids at least by now?"

@Miguel:

Miguel was led onto the arena. The sounds of combat reached his ears as few pairs were fighting. All this however paled with the roar of the spectators; there was hundred or so of them, drinking, snacking, and watching people get horribly dismembered for their entertainment.

The young myrmidon went onto the arena from other, nearby exit and looked at Miguel. The swordsman was young, his hair was unkept and the skin under his eyes was rather purpleish. One could easily bet he was a street rat or some such vagrant.

Without a warning, the Myrmidon attacked first! Miguel felt the blade slash his hand before he was able to counter; his lance struck deep into the swordsman's shoulder.

Miguel counterattacks!
Hit: 97+15-18 = 94
Hit roll: 4, hit!
Damage: 13+1-3 = 11dmg
Myrmidon has 9/20HP!

Then, Miguel quickly ended the duel with his lance striking the swordsman in the face. He fell with a groan. Crowds cheered as the blood gushed from the mangled body.

Duel ends. Miguel is victorious!

The nearby servant or arena guard or whoever that was quickly waved to Miguel and then took him off the blood-stained sands. The elderly horseman was taken through the same tunnel he came in, back to the Arena Master's office.

The arena master looked at the aide who came back with Miguel, and the aide nodded.

"Nice, and I thought you will get killed, sir grandpa." He quickly prepared a bag of coinage for Miguel.

"Here's five hundred. Wanna fight once more?"

@Miguel:

The arena master took the money, and then began to shuffle in a pile of papers.

"Aight, bet money is here, and for the first fight... hmm... ah yes, this fella will do. A young myrmidon guy."

//Rolled: Lvl3, Myrmidon

"Still up fer it?"

Yet another Flophouse added to the waitlist :V!

The fresh blood mingled with the old wounds, and Dragon McPillagePants was the first of this mix; he attacked Rikke, but the proud rebel stabbed back at the draconian. However, the dagger isn't very good against thick, scaled skin of Dragon McPillagePants, and he doesn't get even scratched.

Nearby, Le Draco steeled himself and lifted his shield, just as Canon Fader rushed toward him! That was more than enough, as Canon Fader had problems getting a clear strike. Clang clang clang, went the shield when Canon actually swung his sword right.

Lee Harvey Flophouse's Revenge went after Dragon McPillagePants. The mighty drakeman soon felt the heavy morningstar smash against his ribs, the scale not doing much against the blunt force of the strike.

Sir Hansan III then looked for an easy prey and he found one: Lee Harvey Flophouse's Revenge! With the two-handed sword held high, the soldier of Palatine rushed forth and decapitated his target with one swift strike to the neck. A feat worthy of song, provided anyone remembers this event.

Grog the Eviscerator in the meanwhile tried to get rid of Le Draco. Alas, it was as if some goddess protected Le Draco, for Grog's attacks were sluggish, allowing the rebel drake to evade them with ease.

Right afterwards, Le Draco found himself under attack from Dwarfy McCann! The man clad in dwarven mail acted faster than Grog, so this time Le Draco had to work his feet and use his shield - and yet again, he managed to escape the harm's way!

TWANG! Went someone's crossbow. It was Rikke's! The bolt flew with a swishing noise and struck Dragon McPillagePants in the head. Scales, chainmail, all this for naught, the deadly projectile smashing the bone and flesh and brain inside Dragon's head.

Sir Evan then tried to defeat Grog the Eviscerator. However, the axemaster had his large shield and blocked Sir Evan's strikes one after another. Alas! That didn't help him when Killian von Death went after him! The agile sword-wielder danced around Grog until an opportunity presented itself - and he struck Grog the Eviscerator in the heart, the long sword eagerly piercing the leather and skin and flesh, striking down the axemaster.

@Miguel:

Raphael stood in front of Candy.

"Oi, old man, go harass someone else." The mercenary spoke like a hero, sorts of.

@Leila:

The man glared for a moment at Sheila.

"No."
