Bet money is 250 coins; you pay to enter, and if you win, you get double that for the first fight; triple and quadruple for next two, respectively. Oh and if you get killed, I can send a letter to ya family. Or we will just bury you outside the arena." The man nodded toward the door, speaking of the graves that surrounded the building.

"To make it fair you and your opponent will be given cheap iron weapons, nothing magical or fancy. You fight to the death, and there's no surrendering."

//You have advantage in the first fight, equal chances in second, and you're at disadvantage in the third. You gain 2x, 3x and 4x bet money per duel, respectively, plus a Level Up per victorious duel. If you drop to 0HP, you die. You will be statted w/Iron Lance (in Miguel's example).

The arena was surrounded by fields of small graves, the single words speaking the names of those who have fallen on the sandy arena. The building itself was oval and had numerous arches, to which wooden platforms and staircasesare leading. Surely these are for spectators.

The entry for contestants was, suprisingly, a small door at the side of the Arena building. Inside, a small room with two clerks counting something in the corner and a man with bald, scarred head suddenly appeared in front of the cavalier.

"Oi grandpa. Spectators' seats are upstairs, you went wrong way." He said with a grin, showing that he was missing at least four teeth.

The local bar was filled with the obvious clientele: smelly, hairy, gruff sailors, pirates and such. There was only one man sitting at the table near one of the corner, sipping some beer from a mug. It was the only one that fulfilled both of Candy's criteria.

As the pink-haired dancer stopped by the man's table, said male looked Candy over and then looked at his face.

"Sup?"
