Ballistic exchange between Einar and the floaty eye ended without resolution.
Jorund mutilated the corpse of the spider a bit while Halldora walked away.

The eye however seemingly lost interest in such powerful prey and could be see floating away north.

Eleonore stepped between trees and cast her magic at poor Cidney.
"There, better?"
"So, shall we pursue the beast through the swamps?"
"No... I don't want to get besieged by more of this hideous floating eyes whilst being waist deep in mud. We should go by the dry ground, even if it will take a while longer. That will also give us a moment to use our medicine and let my healing magic work, too." Altmorin nodded and rode west, quickly stopping at the sight of the cyclops.
"He looks quite tough for a single cyclops..."

The blast of wind smashed the spider's head open, sending some yellow, oily gunk onto Halldora's clothes. It had lovely, rancid scent of arachnid fluids.
