Julian waited till they were further away from the guards. Then he mumbled back:

"These thugs were debt collectors hired by some smuggler or someone. Unfortunately it seems that my uncle's debts weren't purely with friendly and honest merchants." He went silent, stepping up onto the ship. The caravel was small, and the barrels and crates and sacks of the trade goods were taking lots of space on the board.

"That's a lot of goods." Julian spoke in normal tone, looking around at the markings and notes at the cargo. "Foodstuffs? What kind of trade plan you have on mind, Dustine? Mind you, we have to go to Xios soon."

Well, this will be hard to explain. :P How to describe myself...
My character has a tan complexion, chocolate-colored skin (if that metaphor is to be used :V), a slightly oval-to-narrow facial structure, brown irises, 'flowing' black hair... :v
Uhh, yeah.
For clothing, I'm mostly thinking a match of commoner clothing (ie light cloth, probably cream in color--that straw yellow color mixed with white?) Unsure if there'd be a mix of underclothing with a darker colored tunic though. Thinking light colors. Also thinking over-leather or armor plate on a shoulder. :v Probably even a strap for the quiver.

...Yeah. :P
Someone else wanna help Tiruin with this? After my super-late-night yesterday/earlier today and having to start work in another half-hour, I don't have time to make any mugs :[



So far this but I'm unable to find a matching or at least partially matching female 'commoner' suit amongst what I have. Someone else needs to finish the rest v:

"Are you in charge of this group?" He looked at Dustine, but then Julian stepped closer.

"She isn't, I am. I'm Julian Descartes, head of Descartes Trading Company, and these are thugs that tried to mug me." He nodded at the beaten bandits. "And these standing are my bodyguards. I was returning to my ship when the bandits attacked." In middle of the explanation, the horseman mumbled something to the others. Few unmounted and began checking who of the thugs are alive - the ones that were breathing were quickly pinned to the floor and had their wrists bound with rope.

"I see. Do you have any idea who they might be?"

"None." Julian said defiantly, after a moment.

"Seems strange they tried to-"

"Sir, I'm a busy man, and my profits are hurting every moment I spend here. Can I go?" The horseman's officer looked at Julian funnily, but then waved his hand at him.

"You might go. These curs will be charged with assault anyways."

"Thank you, sir." He then turned to his mercenaries, and then looked at Captain Garshlow, speaking to him in hushed tone as the horsemen began to clean the area.

"Captain, how fast we can be out of the port?"
