It's really not since that shit would add up very quickly - especially if you kept losing HP on a down - in the games you run, Hasp. :| It wouldn't take long before players have 1 in every stat, including HP.

Maybe something like only once per map, if you spent 5 or more turns KO'd, *mumblemumblemumble*

I should somehow discourage you guys from relying on death counter for corridor-choking and such shenanigans.
1. Downed bodies no longer block movement that ends on their tile.  Enemy and player units may now stand on the same tiles as downed bodies.
2. To revive a downed player before their death counter runs out, their tile must be unoccupied.

Jolly good fun, all around. ^_^

I was thinking something about permament 'damage' to their stats; an axeman who gets KO'd is so wounded that he loses 3 HP or 1 STR permamently.

Dunno it's not very good system, I would need to think something better :P

You'll need it, after all.  Remember, he's likely to try to to make up the EXP differential given what we gained on our half of the story, and EXP gains don't scale to party size.  Do be sure to enjoy yourselves. ^_^

I wanna abuse these to figure out exact ranges but I don't want Haspen to be careful about letting slip more in the future. :3

You can already extrapolate Prixima's HP range and %Hit from this very easily. Come on, where's your math shenanigans you guys loved to do? :P

I'm half of the opinion favored stats should be uncapped for all classes, or at least have those caps extended. There's little difference between a knight with thirty DEF and any other class with thirty DEF, which strikes me as a little odd.

If anything I can lower caps on non-preferred stats in all classes, like GBA Fire Emblems do :3
