RPG2k has event-based scripting.
RPGXP is both event-based and actually has scripting language called Ruby.
Never heard of FEXP, though.

In RPGXP I've done everything from database shenanigans to in-game cutscenes. However Ruby is black magic to me like any kind of programming.

We had an official thread some time ago. And there's still a Steam group with, like, three people.

NOT OFFICIAL ENOUGH and besides who would launch Steam for Wesnoth, tis just waste of ram :P

http://www.wesnoth.org/ <- download for yer enterntaiment :v

Okay because various Wesnoth threads surface suddenly and then drown in the sea of inactivity after few weeks, I'm gonna make this thread and put it into my signature because... well, Wesnoth is a fancy TBS, type of games you can rarely find nowadays.

It's free, it's pretty, and it's very interesting and can absorb you for hours.

I'm a leetle beet map maker and actively looking for people to test my melee maps with (didn't touch scripting yet... it's always black magic for me). If you fancy a duel or maybe play World Conquest together or some other scenario or just help me test my map(s) online:

Ironcladkitty (in rare cases, Haskitty) is my name on current official server for 1.10.7/x version. I do not, however, play development versions just so you know!

Yes, this vessel is currently adrift as it's crew seems to be asleep and captain busy with his fantasy books.

Honestly guys. Where's Culise, Furt and SC? I need their posts. Otherwise we will be dragging those chapters until February!

The Rich Fields.

The region of meadows where grass was actually green and the water don't smell. It's the small patch of land between two hills, the only place where the sickly cows of Clan Maduddle and Clan McKaus could graze on the non-radioactive plants. But see, the two Clans were in a feud.

It all begun when Louis Maduddle got drunk and had a fistfight in a bar with Klaus McKaus, and the former died from knife wound. Louis' son then killed the younger son of Klaus in revenge, but his own wife got kidnapped and beaten to death by Klaus' son and his lackeys... the usual business between two clans.

However, the feud escalated when the two clans' began to squabble over the Rich Fields. Even the mercs and servants, once merrily drinking together the nuke-ale and shroom-beer in bars, waged deadly skirmishes over simplest of misunderstandings.

After three months of open hostility, the current heads of the clans, Marcus Maduddle and Mickey McKaus decided to settle this once and for all. The two would gather their servants and family members and mercs and fight for the meadow at specific date.

The remnants of the clan that loses either stays and becomes slaves to the winner, or packs their belongings and leaves for better place to live - but most propably this means death on scorching desert.

As the large groups of rough, armed men gather in a small, skeleton-ridden ravine north of Rich Fields, their wives and children nervously wait at their tents and shacks for news of the battle.

Who will win the Rich Fields? Which clan will face defeat and destruction at hands of the others?

It is time to decide that!

Clan Maduddle:
Objectives:
1. Wittle down McKaus' goon army (1 of 10 kills)
2. After that, fight and kill that whore-son, Mickey McKaus (not yet done)

Clan McKaus:
Objectives:
1. Crack down the Maduddle's forces (2 of 10 kills)
2. After that, fight and kill that bastard, Marcus Maduddle (not yet done)

Derp, I gave him mutated muscles bonuses instead ::)

Fixed.

General Discussion / Re: The Dream Thread
« on: December 30, 2013, 05:33:42 am »
In my dream, we just moved into a new apartment and went to check our basement, which turns out was a storage room for a nearby shop. We got into argument with shop owners and they left for a while and I began to look around the basement.

I found a diary that belonged to the shop owner's grandfather who also owned the shop previously. I began to read it and soon it turned up to be a thrilling story:

His diary mentioned the country of Charkov that in 1968 began expanding onto Galia, Franconia and even the elven territories due south, but by 1975 the new Great Charkov was ravaged by independence movements and rebellions everywhere. That year was also the end of the diary entries but it didn't seem like the grandfather have died or anything.

So obviously I went to Charkov to search for the old man. Whilst there, I devastated Yanukovych's election poster, threw few rocks at the passing-by trucks, then passed-by my old high school friend, then caught a bus and went on to search for the shop owner's grandfather who could tell me more about the war-time Charkov.

Only then I noticed that the bus took me back home and I returned to my family where we grumbled together about the shop owner who didn't want to share the basement with us and called for court action because my mother sold half of the shop items in the basement for money.

That's when I woke up :v

Visit dungeons.  We'll become more yielding AND be less angry. (Why are we going for yielding?)
We want the magic stone thing, which requires skills that get boosted by yielding.

We gonna curbstomp erryone with mighty army and stabs. We dun need yer pesky stones v;
