Post-Apo Fodder is a spin-off of Medieval Fodder, set in wasteland future. I've taken on my old rules and updated htem for the extra sci-fi flavor.

It is however different from Nerjin's MF which I hope he will continue to develop and we might have two Fodders going on with different rulesets (and within different time periods, too!) in the same time :)

Updoot: Nerfed mounts a bit, some ranged weapons get hit bonus, and the melee weapons got a tiny bit of balance too.

Updoot 2: Beast Lord nerfed tiny bit; Mutated Bones got a nerf too; shields less effective (scavenge will be more important now if you get crappy shield at start!)

PROLOGUE: AND THEN IT WAS COLD NIGHT AND THE RAIN WAS ACID

In Post-Apo Fodder: Massacres of Lasers and Raptors, all you need is DESIRE TO KILL! For the glory of the warband! Or the desert! Or the raiders!

Remember all those old cartoons about post-apo barbarians hunting down wizzards, mutants and giant lizardss? Well, this aims to give you such feel. IN MULTIPLAYER~

It is RTD which requires little amount of roleplay and complexity; just simple rules!

CHAPTER 0001: CRUNCH SOME NUMBERS WITH YOUR LIZARD MILK BEFORE GOIN' TO BATTLE, MY GRANDMA SAYS!

There is a hit roll (1d6), and damage roll. That's all.

During your turn, you can take one of these actions:

ATTACK: normal attack that includes a hit roll and damage roll.
SHOOT: use appropriate hi-tech ranged weapon magical equipment of yore. Your enemy doesn't retaliate, but ranged weapons have limited uses, compared to melee weapons.
DEFEND: instead of attacking, you get +1 to evade roll until your next turn. You can defend allies, providing a meatshield for them. Remember that the evade bonus caps at +4!
IDLE: you pass the turn doing nothing.
COMMAND: you command your mount to attack with its jaws/claws.
SCAVENGE: instead of fighting, you grab weapon/magick/shield of (you choose) your enemy had if you killed him/her in previous turn; this action is available ONLY right after you kill your enemy!
INSPIRE: your allies get +1 to hit and evade, you get -1 to hit and evade. This special action is reserved only for Commanders.

CHAPTER 0010: YA LOOK LIKE SOME THICK WASTELAND SHIT, YO

In Post-Apo Fodder, you need no backstory or deep character development. All you need is:

Name: pretty obvious
Side: which side you fight for (A or B)
Skill: one of the skills, look below
HP: This is rolled by GM; default range is 7-10
Weapon: This is rolled by GM.
Magick: This is rolled by GM, as well.
Armor: Guess what - yup, rolled by GM too!
Shield: Again, GM rolls for this.
Mount: Do I really need to explain?

CHAPTER 0011: CAN YOU DO TRICKS? EITHER YA DO TRICKS OR YA DIE IN DA DESERT, BOY

Agile: +1 to evade rolls.
Beast Lord: You start with a War Raptor Mount. They do NOT roll for Magick items, however!
Bruiser: Melee weapons get +1 Damage.
Crush Master: You get +1 to hit with blunt weapon, and start with randomly choosen weapon of that category, other than Bone Club.
Edge Master: You get +1 to hit with edged weapon, and start with randomly choosen weapon of that category, other than Kitchen Knife.
Commander: You can INSPIRE your allies. You start with random, non-War Raptor Mount; also your Armor will be Army Combat Suit or better.
Mutated Bones: Your bones are fragile and lightweight; you gain +2 to evade roll, but edge/stab weapons deal +1 damage to you, while blunt weapons get +2 damage bonus.
Mutated Muscles: Your mishapen, irradiated body denies you the use of Armors, but you get +5 to max.Hp and regen 1 HP at start of each turn!.
Stab Master: You get +1 to hit with pierce weapon, and start with randomly choosen weapon of that category, other than Sharpened Stick.
Yer a Wizzard: Instead of GM rolling one Magick item, you CHOOSE TWO!! They must be of different kind.

CHAPTER 0100: YO, GET SOME JUNK FROM 'ERE UNLESS YA WANNA RATS BITIN' YO ASS

Blunt:
Bone Club: 1-handed, 1-5 damage
Barbed Wire Club: 1-handed, 1-7 damage
Heavy Steel Pipe: 1-handed, 3-5 damage
Sledgehammer: 2-handed, 3-9 damage, -1 to evade rolls

Edge:
Kitchen Knife: 1-handed, 2-4 damage, +1 to evade rolls
Army Knife: 1-handed, 3-5 damage, +1 to evade rolls
Machette: 1-handed, 3-6 damage
Chainsaw Blade-Ax: 2-handed, 4-8 damage

Stab:
Sharpened Stick: 1-handed, 1-3 damage, nullifies 1 point of enemy Armor
Stone-tipped Spear: 1-handed, 1-4 damage, nullifies 1 point of enemy Armor
Steel-tipped Spear: 1-handed, 2-5 damage, nullifies 2 points of enemy Armor
Fission Heavy Drill: 2-handed, 3-6 damage, nullifies all Armor, -1 to evade rolls

Armor:
Clothes: Absorbs 0 damage, +1 to evade rolls.
Biker Jacket: Absorbs 1 damage.
Army Combat Suit: Absorbs 1 damage, +1 to evade rolls.
Part-Plate Armor: Absorbs 2 damage.
Heavy Plate Armor: Absorbs 3 damage, -1 to evade rolls. Can be obtained only by Commanders.

Shields:
Trashcan Lid: +0 to evade rolls.
Hammered Metal Plate: +1 to evade rolls.
Plastic Shield: +2 to evade rolls.

CHAPTER 0101: CAREFUL WITH THOSE, YOU DOLL! THESE ARTIFACTS OF YORE CAN KILL US ALL.

Magick.
These old devices are scavenged from ruined outposts, laboratories, factories and such places. Today, no one knows how to make them anymore.
Most of them are destructive in some way, some are wear-able equipment.

Mystery Device: 1-4 damage, 1/1 ammo.
"It has wires, and metal pointy things - toss it, it might explode! Or maybe it's just junk..."
Hell Sphere: 8-13 damage, 1/1 ammo, auto-hit.
"Oh I know those, you just pull out that mithril ring out of it and then toss at your enemy, and they will explode in ball of hellish flames!"
Thunder Tube: 3-6 damage, 5/5 ammo, +1 to hit.
"Thunder Tube! A godly weapon of yore, just point at enemy and pull the trigger whilst chanting the magical words inscribed on the side, 'LASER PISTOL ISSUE NO.15-A'!"
Dragon Rod: 5-9 damage, 3/3 ammo, +1 to hit.
"Dragon Rod! I've seen guys dying after one blast from this thing! Chant the words of "LASER RIFLE PROT-3" whilst triggering this artifact, and watch your enemy get zapped!"
Holy Cube: Restores 3 HP of the target. 3/3 ammo.
"You've got a Holy Cube? It makes those tiny green lights that heal wounds when you say it's words of power, which are, I think, 'MEDICAL NANOBOT DISPERPSER', or sumthin'."
Magic Armor: Absorbs 3 damage, +1 to evade rolls. Replaces current Armor.
"Made of light-weight plates infused with magical ingredients, this thing is best armor we can find in the wastes!"
Laser Barrier: +2 evade rolls. Reflects Tube/Rod attacks on succesful evade back at the attacker. Replaces current Shield.
"This magical shield protects the user from harmful magicks! Don't mind the quiet, annoying buzzing, you will get used to it in no time."

CHAPTER 0110: LOOK'EM WICKED BEASTS! PRETTY RAD AIN'T THESE? THEY CAN CHEW THE SHIT OUTTA THOSE OTHER PUNKS!

If you're a Beast Lord or Commander, you get a Mount. They have their own HP; to inflict damage to you, Melee weapons first need to kill your mount. Note that 'magick' devices are ranged and thus can deal damage directly to you.
Remember! Your Mount does NOT gain hit/evade bonuses OR minuses in any way, including whatever modifiers you might get from your skill/equipment!
When you lose your Mount, you cannot get it back in any way or Scavenge for another one, so be careful whom you're ordering it to attack!

Giant Salamander: 8 HP, Armor: 1. Nose Horn: 2-5 damage.
Feathery Lizard: 6 HP, Armor: 0. Spiky Jaws: 4-6 damage.
War Raptor: 9 HP, Armor: 1. Lethal Fangs: 5-7 damage.

EPILOGUE: GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER OR- aww dammit, I think he's a goner, guys...

If you die, your adventure doesn't end!
Just make another character and take a spot on the waitlist - in few turns, you will be back into fierce combat!

Imprison her? Forced work doesn't look right if she turns out guilty, and then again, execution doesn't look right if she turns off innocent.
