Different provinces give different neighbours, plus most crops are limited to certain places.

Your only barbarian neighbours are Mountain Dwellers. Your Province can have Cabbage, Millet and Wheat, but not Rice, for example :P

Hi ho! The bloodshed we go!

Luke II launches himself onto Apathy Knight. The knight apathetically does nothing to protect himself and woe! CHOP! Goes the leg, CHOP! Goes the head! He slumps to the ground, mangled and mutilated like this, his blood shining on Luke II's axe.

But what is this! Ms. Pretty Obvious attacks Lady Pir Cinnamon, but NO says the Cinnamon woman! Her battleaxe swooshes near Ms. Pretty Obvious' face, close to cutting off a thing or two. But the murderous weapon settles for smashing into the other woman's shoulders. Blood gushes as Ms. Pretty Obvious takes a step backwards.

And Lady Pir Cinnamon does not stop - she quickly turns on her heels and rushes after Axe's Special Cousin. The lightweight sword would be good in fencing, but with something as large as battleaxe, there is little help - oh oh! There we go, look at the axe slicing down through shoulder into the ribcage, ripping the armor and body open at once.

Klaus von Grab rushes to defend the murderous Lady Pir in the very same moment in which Kyle the blood traitor tries to wound Fane Ravien. But Fane swings her axe, rleaeses a war cry, and slashes across the stomach of her opponent. Guts would be spilling out if not the sturdy rings of the chainmail, which absorbed much of the strike's force.

Oh and there goes Rune, rushing at Ruthbert the Ruthless. But this duel ends quickly - Ruthbert stabs his enemy in the hand, and Rune jumps away, holding his bleeding appendage.

Side B gets reinforced by Aegis and Death!

Xiongnu again. Those bastards decided to invade me with force just after a powerful earthquake knocked down entire district. To cope with loss of 800+ workers, I had to relocate all military and other workers into food industry, so I had to leave the gates and towers unmanned.

And because I didn't have Elite district yet, I had only two forts of hastily recruited spearmen.

The Xiongnu came with four squads of horse archers and a squad of footsoldiers. My spearmen were mowed down, gates knocked down, the city set ablaze and the palace razed to the ground.
