Yelling have returned - different voices, different words - but yelling was always the same.

Luke II rushed toward Caim, only to be blocked by Cromwell Jackson. The two dueled for a hwile, exchanging feeble blows and clumsy strikes that were easily blocked or parried.

The same fate met Lady Pir Cinnamon - by the time she moved close to Caim, two of his fellow Revolutionaries were near him, and Lady Pir decided to go after the wounded one. Alas, she couldn't get through his skilled defense and quick dodging.

Count Kyle found himself in a tight spot because an enemy, Ruthbert the Ruthless to be more specific, went after him. Shield up and legs swift, Count Kyle managed to escape from his assailant...

...right into Fane Ravien's arms. The loyal axemistress (if that's an actual word) swung her axe swiftly and hit hard into his face, forever turning off the starlight for Count Kyle.

Fantasy Conquest needs a new GM

I've lost the heart for the game v:

All that's need to GM it is in the thread, really.

24183
To be honest, I've lost heart for this v:

If someone wants to continue the game in my stead, I would be glad :v Summaries are all in the thread and so are the rules.

"We don't deal with noblemen. Only by proxy, like here - looting some old aristocratic tomb." Joz looked at the entrance, then shrugged.

"And I see you're unwilling to fight with me. That is allright. I will seek death and glory somewhere else. I wanted to sharem ore information with you, but I will just give you the name of our employer: Arvis. He tried his best to sound and act like a Berebian, but it was evident he was Menelean. That's all I have to tell you. Goodbye." Joz turned his back at Gregor and his friends, and moved toward his men.

"We're moving - we need to rest." The troop started to move, but the swordmaster stopped, turning toward two people who didn't move.

"Derick, Raquel? You're leaving us?"

Hmm. So assuming no crits or cancel, that's 34 to Joz and 15 to Edwin counting heals. He'd be better off just drinking a vulnerability and hoping for a counter next turn...

22 Crit (with Edwin's luck counted in) ain't that small, ya know :P

24186
The turn order, barring Cancel and crits, would actually be:

Edwin
Joz *1st counter*
Joz *2nd counter*
Joz *1st attack*
Edwin *counter*
Joz *2nd attack*
End of turn

24187
He also has 'Cancel' skill (%SPD to cancel counter of enemy) and the +15 Crit from being Swordmaster :P

What sort of sword does Joz have? I'm phone posting, so I'm afraid I can't see the stat sheet.

"If I valued my purse higher than my honour, perhaps I could be swayed." He rubbed his nose.

"So, have you decided who will duel me?"

24191
Oh and remember that last time you had a duel, you lost your only axe guy :P

24192
"I will let you pick the one I will have to fight with. Mind you, I wield a sword, not a bow or a spellbook." He said, glancing at Charlotte and then Tantallos.

24193
"That was inspirational. But just like every human, every star dims and dies as well, when the time comes. My men will easily find a new star to orbit around, and that star is named Matilda." He stopped for a second.

"Nevertheless, I insist. If I weren't ready to die in battle, I would never pick up a sword."

* Haspen wink wink, nudge nudge @Furtuka :v

@Gregor&others:

"The first condition is: after we finish our 'negotiations', you will let my people go and re-join Matilda and her horsemen. No more killing. Nor any arrest or interrogations. I'm the leader, so you can get most information out of my anyway." Joz took a deep breath.

"The second condition is... I want a duel to the death." Joz smiled.

"It might sound absurd, but, see. I've prided myself on being careful, reasonable and cool-headed mercenary leader. I never lost a battle in the field nor in the narrow corridors of old ruins. I never lost more than three of my friends in one mission, and I never lost a duel, no matter how powerful my opponent was. Maybe except Derick, but those always ended in a draw." His mercenaries looked at each other in panic or at Joz, wide-eyed, but none even spoke against their leader's apparent death-wish.

"Today I lost around fifteen friends. Today, I lost a battle against much smaller unit. Today, I either lose a duel and die in battle, or I win and at least retain a piece of my honour. I won't just turn my back and walk away in shame." There was some grumbling behind their backs - but Joz cast a glance at his fellow mercenaries, all they went silent, albeit, sadness was very evident on their faces.
