Them be crazy changes in classes in 1.22. Examples:
Archer gets auto-attack against melee attackers if he has Side sword in his inventory.
Knights are no longer bound to spears - they can be of any single subcategory (think FE4 knights).
Fighters lose the forest invisibility; in it's place, the enemies they fight who are in forest get no bonuses!
Myrmidons get some crazy Pass skill which lets them backstab and don't fear counterattack!
Troubadours give random stat boost to the healed ally.
And I haven't started Promoted Classes yet :I

EDIT: Okay, Promoted Classes have even more bonuses. For example, now that Nullify is Cost skill, Paladins can choose
another Cost skill
or get +30% to spend on Progression rates O.o
