It was a tycoon, about making pizza and mafia-esque shenaningans.

It was made around 2000, dunno the details though... I only remember that first mission was in London Dx

Last time I had Mintakans under my wing, their star went nova.

They are very unlucky people in every universe, it seems :P

Update 12: Preemptive Strike?

Turn 134: Two more destroyers completed: USS Aquila and USS Algol, at Sol and Zakdorn respectively.

Turn 135: USS Monitor, strike cruiser, leaves Zakdorn yards. Zero enemy activity on our borders.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Ahh right, Tholians accepted our affiliation treaty.

Turn 136: USS Algenib, Sol yards. Upgraded scanner in Ferenginar shown us a massive Klingon fleet waiting under cloak in Ankaa system. Klingons also scored affiliation treaty with Romulans.

Turn 137: USS Jules Verne, Centaur scout, Zakdorn yards.

Turn 138: USS Hawking, Grissom and Merrimack. Two scouts and one Elite-class strike cruiser. Tholians just accepted our affiliation treaty, propably quite startling the Cardassians. Also of note, but not pictured, are our advancements to Level 7 in Biology and Construction technologies.

Cpt.Azzuro's fleet is thus complete and went on it's way to Ferenginar. The two Ambassadors orbiting Bolarus went there as well, and the combined ZKN fllet went to Ferenginar too.

Why?

Because we're going to strike Ankaa:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As you can see, my plan is to capture Ankaa (or obliterate the Klingon colony, no matter) to get us a safe-ish route to Yridians and Caldonians, with whom we will strike membership proposals after securing Ankaa, thus, splitting Cardassians and Klingons apart - for extra security, we will build a pair of starbases in the unclaimed void regions.
This will be very dangerous action and even more dangerous region to secure, but I trust all of our Captains that they will prove themselves in this operation.

Turn later, Tholians declare war against Cardassians and apply for membership in the Federation! We of course accepted, and the KNZ fleet shall escort a pair of transports to build and outpost, and later, a starbase at Tholia.
USS Valley Forge (Excelsior cruiser) and USS Giotto (Centaur scout) were finished this turn.

Turn 140 rolls in when Tholian join the Federation. A bunch of Klingon K'tinga battlecruisers warped into the system, so we've put on the Thlian defense system. All fleets that were en route to Ferenginar will make a stop in Tholia to scare off attackers and let out transports build a starbase there.
This turn only one ship was finished: USS Ticonderoga, an Excelsior-class cruiser. We've currently switching from shipbuilding to upgrading most important infrastructure, like replicators in our 'shipyard' systems, scanners in border systems, and such.

Turn 141: USS Akagi, last of Miranda-refit destroyers, is finished at Benzar. The ships build there will warp to Sol, where, with Tholian warships, they will undergo proper Starfleet training before they will join the fleet at Ferenginar.

Next week we're startled because:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Accounted for are: 26 transports of all three powers (Klingons, Dominion, Romulan), 17 Romulan battle cruisers and 13 Romulan destroyers, 29 scouts of all three powers (mostly Romulan/Klingon), 6 Romulan destroyers, 4 Dominion destroyers, 3 Klingon Imperial Battleships and a pair of Klingon K'tinga cruisers.
Total ships: 90, of which approximately 1/4 are cruisers.

Uh-oh.

ZKN fleet was sent hastely back to Xepolite.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Computer technology upgrade gives us final rank of Surveyors - Saber class starships. While they are still weak in terms of shielding or armor, their single Photon torpedo launchers (25dmg) was upgraded to 2x Quantum torpedo launcher (2x53dmg). This gives them little extra firepower.

At Turn 146, nothing really happens. KZN fleet arrived at Xepolite, whilst new fleet arrived at Ferenginar. Cpt.Dsarker shall take command of it, from the bridge of USS Yamaguchi.

That is all. Next update, we fight.

Ferengi ships are mass-produced because their production and maintenance costs are very low. This, with addition of Ferengi getting ton of money each turn, means that the earliest large fleets you will see will be Ferengi.

Basically, they go by quantity, not quality.

I dreamt about waking from coma in hospital. After 10 years of it.

My family were the only people who remembered me. Friends have left me, my studies of course were nulled. Same for internet - only one guy recalled me, not to mention most of accounts of mine on places (like bay12) were already deleted/inactive.

Everyone was talking bilingually around me, so I had trouble communicating, everyone had computer implants and that there was spaceport to Moon-5 colony near my house.

I woke up sweating like hell. Fuck... My worst fear is to fall into coma, and I had to get a dream like that :-\

That escaping battle cruiser is really annoying. Or awesome. Wait a moment...

* Haspen reads 'Doq'cha' aloud with Polish pronounciacion, laughs.

Doq'cha sounds like "dokucza" which is Polish verb for 'annoys', specifically in present time masculine sentences, like "(he) annoys (someone)" :P

RNG is sentient being, I'm telling you.

Update 11: Of Shipyards and Allies

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The very next week, I get a note from Starfleet Intelligence. Apparently some of our spies are ready to launch a covert espionage mission into very heart of Cardassian Union. I've ordered to implicate the Romulans.
From other news, Breen declared war against the Dominion and their warship group already went toward Ankaa system. In the meanwhile, Zakdorn-Ktarian-Nausicaan fleet is leaving Xepolite and going to Ferenginar.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A week passes, and Romulans (or maybe Cardassians) stole some credits from us. Klingons and Cardassians signed a non-aggression treaty.
Our External Security agents are now preparing a move against Dominion, whilst we learn what was that operation in Cardassian Union: their economics status, which is of 1008 credits per turn. That's approximately 1/4 of what we can put in our treasury each turn.
As a special gift for me from ES, our agents also found out that Klingon population is currently 'pleased' with their government.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Uh oh. Literaly third front just appeared. Captains Pies and Ivan, and a scout accompanying their cruisers, were ordered to stop short at Bolarus, while the KNZ fleet will stop at one of the outposts near Cardassian border.
The previously mentioned action against Dominion given us their unrest level ('content') and we implicated the Klingons.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Uh, who haven't seen such treaty coming?

Also, Ankaa system, the very system close to Ferenginar, is empty. Null warships. No transports, no scouts or Dominion reinforcements. I'm wondering what's going on in Klingon space that they left their border system empty.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

...

At last we have some shipyard news - USS Nemesis, an Elite-class strike cruiser, left Zakdorn yards under command of new and inexperienced Cpt.Azzuro. Normally we would have someone with more experience, but he is our brightest freshman out of Starfleet Academy. Hopefully that's enough.

Week later, Tholians at last open their space for our traders. Breen, however, turned down our membership proposal. Two battle cruisers spotted at Ankaa system. Cardassian warships haven't been seen for at least 5 weeks now. At least Romulan border fleet is still there, however, down to 31 ships.

The hell is happening?

Next turn nothing happens. USS Berlin leaves Zakdorn yards ahead of schedule, and joins Cpt.Azzuro.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Suddenly, Energy tech upgrade!
USS Nebula, another strike cruiser, left Sol yards.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Ergh. Now Dominion can attack us three areas: Ferenginar area as well as Xepolite area, and Cardassian borders. Dammit. Benzar transports are spreading over our systems, building outposts or upgrading vital ones into Starbases. Soon the production quota will be done and Benzar will switch to warships.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Breen joined the Federation! Their infrastructure is at level 5! We proper expansion, they could become our new shipyard system. Their special building, once built, will give +35% to weapons research. Their battle group, consisting for 8 warships (including two upgraded) was sent to Sol for mandatory Starfleet training, and later they will join Ferenginar Defense Fleet.

Our shipyards at Sol and Zakdorn finish two Excelsiors in the same time; USS Al-Batani and USS Antietam, respectively.

Turn 131: USS Yorktown, Excelsior, Zakdorn shipyards.

Turn 132: USS Beteigeuze, Miranda-refit, Sol.
Cpt.Ivan scored a hit on Dominion scout that entered Bolarus system.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

So, another affiliation treaty against us, plus propulsion update.
USS Arcturus, a Miranda-refit destroyer, leaves Zakdorn yards.

Whilst I would love to continue, I need to sleep. Stay tuned for next update!
PS: Imgur is bitchy, I will put in images tomorrow, sorry D: Images uploaded and pasted as promised! :3
PPS: Counting Breen fleet, we got 17 new ships in this update, woo!

Wasn't it that putting obscenely high values in places hiccups the game and wraps the counter around so it shows negative value?

If I remember correctly, they are second-to-last that can be researched if one goes 'all research equally'.

And think of them as of very fast, very agile cruisers with 4 points of speed.
