We are the mighty Qing.
And our Infamy is over the limit, which is very unfortunate.
Let's hope that nothing bad happens out of it.

Just because we gave the Taira monarchists a place to live, doesn't mean we will let them live.
They are, after all, in the path of our conquest of Japanese Archipelago.
The Japanese will rue the day they've rejected Qing Emperor on the Chrysanthemum Throne!

With Zhuangjing II on the throne, and Jiaqing nearly his adulthood, we can continue our plans.
Well, or we would, if our Infamy wasn't so high.
Thus, immediately after her ascension, Empress Zhuangjing II decides that we need to expand our foreign diplomatic corps.

After nearly a year, the bureaucrats and diplomats finally agree to form a Cabinet.
It puts our yearly Infamy reduction at -2.15 per year. Not much, but it still counts.

Not only does Taira clan stands against us, the Minamoto broke their truce and joined them!
Fine then, we will take more of Minamoto lands as well!

The main body of Minamoto army is caught at Hoki province.
They suffer defeat, and then again at Izumo, and are utterly destroyed at Iwami.
Meanwhile, we're halfway to completion of our conquest of Taira-held provinces.

On 3rd July 1752, the Taira clan is eliminated.
We continue the war against Minamoto, however; there are two coastal provinces worthy of grabbing.

Due to our rising infamy, two nations decided to go to war against us.
Delhi, and Champa. Do their leaders have a death wish? We do not know.
We will gladly replace them with someone more competent, though.

A revolt in Korea catches us unaware; all our Banners are in Japan, or south or east.
The closest is Second Banner led by Ganzhan Yuanwen, and even they are marching out of Kaifeng.
We hope that General Yuanwen is swift enough to put down the rebellion in time. (PS: he does)

Shiribeshi, the colonial settlement on Hokkaido, is taken from Minamoto's hands.
The population now is Manchurian and follows the teachings of Confucius.

With conquest of Japan proceeding ahead of schedule, we will be removing Fourth and Sixth Banner from Japan.
Instead, a native-supported Kyoto Banner will keep the peace in the mainland Japan, while the Island Peace Banner will be relocated to the southernmost island.
The two older Banners will be now stationed in Korea, to prevent further uprisings, and Eastern Siberia, just in case.

And a new banner will be created in Viet, as well.
Of course, it will be called 'Viet Banner', and will be made of local Viet and Laotian soldiers, taught and equipped in Qing ways.

That's a new one, I don't recall a time when a Qing heir was renowned for his poetry and caligraphy!
Mayhaps this is a good omen?

It seems that our Westernization is bringing fruit, and our troops are being upgraded more often than usual.
It is not much, but they will help against less advanced nations.

Empress Zhingjiang has died!
Crown Prince Jianqing III quickly ascends the throne.
His diplomatic acumen allows us to begin negotiations with Minamoto. How shall we humilitate them this time?

That's how. We take most of their lands in north, and force them to forever give up claims to the Japanese provinces we hold.
Next war should be the last for Minamoto, and us, in the Japanese peninsula.

Finally, we catch up on Production technologies enough so that we can build a Grain Depot.
One is put to construction in Nanyang, in the heart of our Empire, keeping it far away from enemy hands.

There's a heir to the throne of Qin! His name is Daoguang.
Emperor Jianqing will celebrate this birth with conquest of Bukhara, a Persian province.
The heavens themselves dictate so!

The war was short, painless, and uneventful.

Timurid nomads attack our borders, and Kazan and Khmer feel emboldened enough to strike us.
It seems that we have long way to go in department of teaching our neighbours a painful lesson.
Not that we complain!
