Yeah, Taricus wants to make sidequest session for us low-levels so we catch up a level or two with the rest :)

And I repeat - I won't be available at Thursday and Sunday evenings for our sessions this weeks. Please plan accordingly so I can play :V

Help set up camp then take second watch

Harald pulls out the bedrolls from the wagon and places them in sort-of circle around the bonfire.

Then he takes a nap.

she tries to cover for the night with whatever is available

Bedroll and few large fern leaves make quite a neat sleeping place for Lorbam, who falls asleep.

Tether the mares, then rest overnight

The mares were tethered to the wagon's rear axis. The reins were long enough to allow the horses to roam around in case they need to eat some grass.
Then Karel went to sleep too.

Put everything into piles next to the sleeping area for safety, then go to sleep.

Everything was already unpacked close to the fireplace, so Sieghart didn't had to do before going to sleep as he scheduled. Zzz.

Gustave prepared for the first nightwatch shift.
He would do whatever he could to stay awake until next shift.

And so Gustave took the first watch...

"Getting quite late, isn't it."

Just remember what that has been seen and return to the camp.

And when Vittori came back to the 'camp', he could see four of his 'villagers' asleep and Gustave sitting at one of the bedrolls, staring into the fire and occasionally poking the burning branches.

And they could hear faint and distant wolven howl, coming most propably from direction of the forest.

In the meanwhile...

Looks for animals to kill.

[roll: 4, -1 bad conditions]

Osred didn't found any prey for his bloodthirsty hands. There were few tracks, but without much knowledge he wasn't going to find a hedgehog this way.

[special event roll: 2] (uh oh)

Suddenly, the butcher hear a wolf's howl, very close. Soon, he could also hear snarls and growls, and in next few seconds, he could see wolves - already circling him. There was at least six of them or more - they looked strangely thin, maybe they didn't had food for some time.

And that wasn't anything good for Osred at all.

Skolt climbs into a tree, both to sleep in and to look for the battlefield he overheard the guards talking about.

Skolt found a tree with the top split (most propably by lighting), where he could sit in and lean against one half of the tree trunk.
Sadly, he didn't see any battlefield, given how dark it just became. So he went to sleep.

The night sky is shrouded by thick veil of dark clouds, making the moon and stars dissappear from sight.

//Turn for terkiey, optionally for Caellath and Ultimuh.

A japanese/chinese-world medieval fantasy world. Something like Legend of Five Rings, but kinda different.

Combat is based on d12 roll, and your roll has to be at least 8 or higher than your opponent's to hit him. And to that roll, you add various modifiers, from your battle stance, your stance vs your opponent's stance, weapon skill(s), active/passive abilities, faith bonuses, magickery, wounds, exhaustion and several others, which in alltogether can turn a Roll of 1 into successful hit against roll of 12 :P

Oh and you can die very, very fast if you don't wear at least some kind of armor.

I has several combat tests and world-specific files on Pastebin, I will send you a link via PM if you're still interested :3

I'm back to testing my combat duel system for this samurai game thingy. This time, with proper armor.

And geez, guys are spilling blood left and right but armors keep them alive.

Wonderful :3

Do you just not like stone, or is there an aquifer?

No aquifer, I'm just still designing my "optimal" layout for the stone levels below.
If I screw up then the "0" pillars might intefere with the layout.

Is there a way to "disable" the pillar tile, or convert the pillar to another tile?
I used the init.txt file to convert my pillars from "0" to "#" (as in the 1st screenshot), but I wish I could use another tile for pillars...

Make the pillars 4x4 instead of 1x1, so it shows us squares instead of O's?
