4.Zakdorn. They give experience bonuses to every ship built at their homeworld, and additional bonus when crew is trained there. Worthy potential ally, but I'm slightly worried about they starting standing toward Federation. Feels like someone got to them before me.
Also if you look down and then to the right, you can see that the 'propably Klingon' scout is back at Agnosia just as Martynov left the system.
Angosian homeworld can sustain around 300 million people when it will be fully developed, so I will gladly begin the process of
assimilating them into introducing them to Federation. Plus another trade route won't hurt.
Max possible for Zakdorn: 295 million people. Another reason to get our hands on it.
The same turn in which Betazoids accept our affiliation treaty, USS Martynov meets Klingon Bird-of-Prey, and first contact is established. USS Andromede is warping around Betazed and Zakdorn, visiting unexplored stars.
Few boring turns happened and then, we find this. 270 max population. Energy won't be a problem with barren, arctic and volcanic world. Potential place for Daystrom Institute. That's question for the future, though.
And then we have this big guys near Betazed. Their building gives +50% weapons research and also THEY HAVE DILITHIUM IN THEIR STAR OH YES. It is first time I totally want Chalnoth as soon as possible in my federation. Gotta make sure Klingons won't get them first!
First breakthrough in research during my reign. I'm totally not surprised that it is Energy. As far as I recall, Energy developments have lowest research points requirement in the game (followed by Biology I think).
The same turn, Andromede finds this system. Almost 300 mill possible citizens places it high on the colonization priorities list, and it's just one warp away from Betazed.
A string of good news this time. Let's hope next part will be as successful.
