Yet another siege... I pitch my rabble and hoplites in the port for incoming attack of two enemies... And then Ares appears, destroys the palace (destroying my army banners in process), and his army of spartans roams around the palace site so I cannot re-build it to get my army back.

This time I manage to delay the attacks with some gifts of wine, olives and olive oil, but the enemies came back. Ares wasn't around anymore, though. I repel one siege with large losses but that was the main enemy, so not only I survived but also made myself indepentent and thus, no more tributes. And then second army appears from other city, as large as the first one. My rabble kills few soldiers before I succumb to invasion.

Third time, I say to myself, I will win. 'Ha, ha, nope!', says the game. Situation like above, but I bribed the first army and defeated the second... Then Hera appeared, causing all of the world to hate me, so just one year later I have 3 armies down on me. First army bribed, second repelled, and third got through and destroyed me.
