General Discussion / Re: Ethical Dilemmas: For The Greater Good?
« on: July 09, 2011, 04:42:37 am »
Good guys gave power to evil guys, openly or not, thorough whole history...

And there's never a gain without loss. A lot of loses, sometimes, which turn out for the good of everyone.

I also has a penchant of disliking utterly stubborn folks :P

Strike the deal!

Obviously a small nation is less important then millions - billions actually. They stubborness have already costed lives of millions and I think the time of asking nicely has already ended.

Besides, it is not that much of moral dilemma because mass manslaughter happens in Africa all the time, even now when I write this post.

And the other countries might always invade the 'military' regime or give humanitarian aid to the stubborn guys under the regime.

Unless the regime has oil that it's willing to sell to US and important countries, because then obviously no one will give a f*ck.

Well, there we go...

It' a an old game, somewhere like second half of 90's I believe.

You were some kind of space pilot, flying around the space (I think it was 'flat' space) in a crescent shaped ufo. I don't remember much besides there was some kind of spaceships you could board and space colonies, all those populated by either squishy pink/grey aliens or robots. The robots were peaceful at first but went all 'KILL KILL' the moment you touched anything on their ships.

They had the 'old look' faces - squareish, with lightbulbs and screws and all that thing.

I believe the game started with 'P'.

Wait, all the bricks look the same in world viewer (hot pink lololololol). So if you put hot pink into the PNG, what kind will it be?

Obviously, lava.

But in all honestly, I think it actually makes different bricks look different in the editor.

@BlargityBlarg:

Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes AntiMalware

Those two I can recommend :o

Adding and removing backgrounds has been sped up. In addition the game will automatically fill in 1 tile holes in the wall when placing them.

Best line in that entire thing.

No more tiny holes in colored brick background walls!?

YES

FUCK YES :D

What mod makes people fight each other? :o

Do you mean like war or a mod that makes all characters kill each other (like a bunch of civilians in a house start attacking each other)

The guy you're quoting from wrote that over a year ago... but I hope someone can answer this.

Hmm, if only I remembered what I meant back then :P

Prolly much meant that every civ was at war with some other civ, except those elves I mentioned.

So does anything force the night into a bloodmoon? because lately I've been having bloodmoon after bloodmoon.

1/7 or 1/8 chance, unrestricted by anything.

So yeah, there's small, but still a chance, to get bloodmoons in a row.

Tonight I have been blessed with the one of rarest occurences concerning Dwarven Anatomy and birth.

I'm proud of my dwarves.

EDIT: The first one is even 'techinically' older brother of the second! How nice, they keep them chronologically correct :D

Apparently amnesia can be helpful. The more you know!

That is awesome, and I have never seen it before. Mod? Obscure personality trait? My own inexperience with hammerers?

I bet my money of pure coincidence of Hammerer forgetting hsi demand while he was talking, thus increasing his speaking skills experience, thus getting stats increase ;p

Saltwater pike? Haven't found it in the raws. Is it from a mod?

Yeah, it's called Real Life. I tell you, you gotta try it :P

Those are normal badgers.

Giant ones are what you should fear.

In order to convey my little corner of the demographic spectrum, please allow me to greet you in my native tongue.

Eyup, sithee. As thi d'win?

(I'm a Theethar born and bred, but currently living in the land of the Deedars.  The difference being no more than a dozen or so miles.)

My geographic knowledge cannot grasp the names of the lands.

Are they on Mars or Moon? :P
