In case you say "yes", I am already working on tiles:

grassland, good grassland, evil grassland
mountain, high mountain, peak
good mountain/high mountain/peak
evil mountain/high mountain/peak

I am working on good/normal/evil forests now :).

Good should be yellow, evil should be purple. Just saying :P

Shoot froggy McKnife-in-hand. Then the rest of them. I count 8 bowelves to 4 frogs we can do this. Unless anybody points out why it won't work. Then we're screwed.

The wind is strong and against us? :P

Shoot to kill!

Presumably the kill list not involving Amala.

Tantrums aren't working for me! >C

I don't trian my militia well, hell, they get wounded necks/spines and don't train after 5 minutes of sparring.

I don't have a grand dining hall, and no mood-enchancing stuff. Everyone have a bunch of friends.

Every season, 10 or so dwarves die, and... Tantrum spirals are just not happening D:

What am I doing wrong?

*sigh*

40d, yes, but I believe still accurate.
Why the sigh? I don't see the Age of the Howl on that list.

Or... is the howl representative of a certain creature?

Dunno? Maybe?

I don't know if DF cuts off half a word, but that's unlikely :P

Maybe a name of FUNthing/FB/whatever.

After getting a comfirmation about the deployment schedule, Weissritter went out of the briefing room, propably to fill some paperwork, while Razimov decided to give you some more details.

"Your primary objective is to defend those four pink markers - those are Alexander Howitzers, the main defense of the coastline. In this mission, you will be dealing with Seahorses and Tritons; the former are lighter and more fragile, but watch out for Matsumoto Claymores-M they carry. Tritons are more bulky, and their weaponry is better. I will give you a hint - don't go into water. Tritons and Seahorses are equipped with water movement modules, so obviously they would be on advantage over you. And, Comrades, please be careful! These guys are real, and they were sent to kill us all and claim our territory. Don't be afraid to eject in case your machine will be on verge of destruction. Good luck."

---

Five minutes later, all of you were already in the hangar, getting into the mecha. Not the crappy and fragile like PS-1's, no - each of you got your hands on the very Mecha you choosen from all you were allowed too. And of course weapons are no more the old Gigas submachine guns - your machines are fitted with toys better than that.

But will that be enough to defend the array of Alexanders?

---

This time, you were transported onto the site not by the slow Mecha Carrier Vehicle, no. You were loaded onto the Blackfire Aerial Carrier, designated to carry mecha over long distances at supersonic speed. In less than twenty minutes, you were dropped around two hundred feet above the coast. Your fall was short but safe - the dampeners in your mecha's feet made you feel nothing else than a small shake.

And the targeting - almost perfect.

You didn't had time to even look around where the radios buzzed with static, indicating an incoming call.

"Hello, guys. I'm Colonel Ian Maxwell, and I will be your operator on this mission. My collegaues and I will provide you with information, our searching systems here at Bude Naval Base can be trusted." Col.Maxwell let out a small chuckle at this moment, and then a sigh. The static crackled at your cockpits, conversations at Bude that took place on this moment too quiet for you to hear them.

"Ah well, seems that our American 'friends' are still a bit away from the shore, according to the systems. You have some time to position yourself, but please be ready for action at any moment."

Citizens, (...)

Sometime within the next 36-48 hours there will be a complete and total wipe of all characters and all maps, and a new world will be generated.

Well I've been interested in trying this game for ages, but kept shying away because the world was already so overpopulated and I wouldn't have the chance to do much. I guess this is my chance. I've never played before, though, so I'll probably need some assistance to start. I remember trying to start the game once and being instantly confused by everything, and the introduction was completely unhelpful. Is there a newbie guide somewhere that might help?

Quick Help Guides, my friend.

Hide yo sheep, hide yo gold, hide yo crafts, cuz they're stealing everything!

Worshipped ancestors a bit, then went 'swimming' :D

My pack of people are already plotting for new world, so I won't be joining bay12 village, sadly.

Oh well :P

I just wish the uploader was working... then I could find myself and see if I could find you.

It's quite easy to find yourself if you travel by boat a lot and find few landmarks, like horseshoe shaped lake, or ruins of large city at edge of mountains.

And of course patience to look through whole map ;P

Also, found myself on the main map!

Three lakes east of Port Eryie, eastern part of sector 12, -104. A yellowish-land divided with a river.

In case someone will want to visit me, I have some medium-level (clay items, some tea, flour doughs) stuff to barter with.

Always looking for more carrots, plant fibres, wheat and milk :P
