The very next morning, Commander Weissritter gathered all of the Pilots, both civilian teachers, aide Razimov, and one, young officer with a smirk and spiky white hair.
"You're now an official Mecha Pilot Squad, serving under the Commander Alan Weissritter. Glory to European Union! Well now, you don't have time to celebrate. The enemy is at the coast of Britain, and you are going to be dispatched near Bude, North Cornwall. Our western enemies switched from bombardments and air-dispatch to aquatic ambushes and coastal attacks. I will just steal a minute to introduce you to this young man." He turned to that spike-haired young officer.
"That's Lieutenant Dave Brotski. He is in charge of supplies. Any and all of modifications you will want to apply to your suits, you must consult with him first. The HQ isn't keen on tossing valuable equipment to freshmen, so don't except big guns and flashy modules delivered to you instantly. Now, Razimov, turn on the tactical map."
The hologram projector beeped twice before a flat, 2D image appeared in the middle of the room.
"Those two squares are the deployment area. The upper-left one we will call Area 1, and the other, Area 2. Three of you will be dispatched to Area 1, and other three to the second area. Pick the Areas. And, if you have any questions, now is the time."
