Move to B11. That's only two moves, because I move to C11 and then down to B11, right?

Exactly.

Oh gods :D

First of all, launch the anvil over the edge. We will get the gift RITE NAO.

31882

The unmanned cannon shoots at Alan, again.

***Mission objectives have changed***

Objectives:

1. Stand on the same tile as the Green Marker. This will make the AI-controlled enemies render you as neutral.

Have another existential crisis about how people were able to survive in calendar boxes for so many days.

Then get better because you're a HERO.

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: What's going on in your fort?
« on: December 21, 2010, 05:41:02 am »
Another of my 40d forts, this one is most fun.

In short, chasm and cave river I have, thus a flurry of bad things pouring into my fort. Last time, a batch of naked mole dogs, lead by a Giant bat, slaughtered seven of my dorfs before we have won.

Now, lack of alcohol and miasma everywhere is more of a problem.

31887
Not to break the mood, but I'm wondering... How did you manage to keep Empress Death-Metal standing?

Physics?

Just bend the joints so such large figurine won't topple. Victory!

31888
Goddamn you Lovechild, whole post is sig-worthy.

Especially chasing parts and existential crisis number ?

:D

31889
Players:

1. Twi:
"Move to I6, fire Lionheart at Mare 3."

Twi moves to the side and shoots at enemy!

Hit chance: 75+10+0-16-0=69
Hit roll: 13 [Hit!]

Damage roll: 1d10
Damage dealt: 7-1=6

Mare 3 fidgets, sparkles and explodes!

Twi: -1 ammo, Lionheart
Mare 3: -6 HP

Mare 3 has been destroyed.

3. Furtuka:
"Move to H11 and fire gigas at mare 4"

Hit chance: 75+5+0-16-5=64
Hit roll: 88 [Miss!]

The bullets fly past left side of the vehicle.

Furtuka: -8 ammo, Gigas

4. John Doe:
"Move east two spaces and fire Lionheart at Mare 4. I'LL BE BACK!"

John retreats, before bumping onto Twi. He shoots a shell at Mare 4!

Hit chance: 75+10+0-(-9)-5=89
Hit roll: 29 [Hit!]

Damage roll: 1d10
Damage dealt: 5-1=4

It hits the opponent and dents it's armor! Mare 4 looks annoyed.

John: -1 ammo, Lionheart
Mare 4: -4 HP

5. Derek Faust:

Derek runs toward Mare 4 and slashes with artistic finesse!

Hit chance: 75+0+0-16-0=59
Hit roll: 57 [Hit!]

Damage roll: 3d3
Damage dealt: 7-1=6

It seems to be working - Mare 4 gets a deep cut in it's armor.

Mare 4: -6 HP

6. Alan Cartago:
"Move to H6 and fire on the mare with the cannon"

Alan cannot move to desired position - and thus the range is too large for his Lionheart!

Enemies:

Mare 4:

"Retreat, shoot."

Mare 4 runs away, and then shoots at Derek from relatively safe position.

Hit chance: 75+5+0-9-10=61
Hit roll: 78 [Miss!]

Bullets hit the sand at his feet.

Mare 4: -8 ammo, Gigas

PS-1:

"Run and shoot the meatbag, destroy destroy destroy!"

The mecha runs closer and shoots with it's cannon!

Hit chance: 75+10+10-(-16)-0=111
Hit roll: Auto-hit!

Damage roll: 1d10
Damage dealt: 5-1=4

The mecha is shaken with the hit! And it shakes afterwards as well, the monitor screen in the cockpit tossing red errors at John.

PS-1: -1 ammo, Lionheart
John: -4 HP

Kaiser Stationary:

"Shoot at meatbag."

The cannon shoots at Alan!

Hit chance: 75+10+0-9-5=71
Hit roll: 2 [Hit!]

Damage roll: 1d12
Damage dealt: 2-1=1

The asian's mecha barely gets a scratch.

Kaiser: -1 ammo, Kaiser
Alan: -1 HP

[Fun fact: It's Turn 6, Enemy 6 shoots at Player 6, who is 6 tiles away. C-C-C-Combo!]
[Fun fact 2: I have been using damage roll of Lionheart for Kaiser cannon all the time *sigh* Oh well, lucky you.]
