He also mentions his magician friend feeling 'a dread presence', and later there was a mutiny amongst his bandit friends. There's more to this story for sure, but I will read into it more closely later."

There were more digging tools, some of them crushed under the rocks.
A skeleton, dressed in pieces of armor and leather, had a pickaxe stuck in its back. There was a dusty old ledger by its side.
Irina could also notice claw marks - many, many claw marks - scraped against the boulder blocking access to the tunnel.

Irina could see that a part of the area caved in; large boulders blocked the way. Amongst the boulders, there were scattered skeletal remains, along with two dessicated bodies. They wore a rather mismatched apparel and clothes. One of them had a pickaxe sticking from underneath, the other was clutching a bag of stolen funerary artifacts, mostly utensils and jewelry.
In the distance, a relatively recently dug tunnel was curving upwards, part of the rubble obscuring access to it...
