Ta-da! v0.4 on DFFD!

That version will be staying here for long. After much development, I will go, create some worlds and test and fix things. So, if you're waiting for more stuff, better grab 0.4 and play a bit.
It can be a looong wait :P

Maybe play a bloodline or something :D

Weeeell, you can erase all the non-economic, non-layer stones and leave just few of them in the raws.

When it comes to stones like that:
[ENVIRONMENT:SEDIMENTARY:CLUSTER:100]
Just change it to:
[ENVIRONMENT:SEDIMENTARY:CLUSTER:1]
So it will happen very seldom.

You can also make some fun and add [SOIL] to the stones :P

I must share a story with you, guys.

I made a standard, medium-sized world for testing the Avernum Fortress 0.4

I was casually running through the history when I found the war (The Conflict of Shocking) between Imperials and Avernite-populated Slith Tower. That conflict spanned for 50 years (124-175), ended with the Conquest of Dreamywhisks (that tower). The most intriguing stuff was the fact, that all attacks from 159 onward was repelled by ONLY ONE Avernite.
He was called Senre Gloryteach the Painful Truth of Rending. He was born in 92 and was fifth oldest son of Asseg and Stral. He quickly became a guard in that tower. In 124, the war described above begun. Senre was taking part in it from the beginning. He valiantly stood as the sole defender of Dreamywhisks, almost to the end (his wife and both sons also took part in the war and died in third attack). He is the man who defended his home from 159 onward.
When Imperials attacked in 175, they haven't found Senre. The hero Avernite, who slew three hundred and thirty-three foes, almost all Imperials, including quite a few named individuals, slayer of a Dragon with the largest kill-list, sole defender of the Tower for 16 years... died of old age just before the final attack.

It is the most sad war story I ever encountered.

I'm thinking of adding him to descriptor_shape_standard, so he will pop on engravings in every world.

EDIT: Done. He won't be forgotten now.

Yeah, with [EVIL] tag a talk with a mayor would be somethin like:

I encountered a bug - the game just froze in like middle of the first summer (around 20 Malachite). Never happened anything like that. Those who played - got that problem?

Toady (armok be with him) putting things in the raws kinda negates the need for outsourcing, because we can do the stuff we like within the framework that he has provided. Do you think he ever thought we would harvest mermaids, or use chunks of goblins to make precious gems? We need no outsourcing.

We can harvest mermaids?

It's a clothing but with "LAYER:ARMOR", so they should wear it as one when (cloth) is choosen as armor. Needs testing though.

I can be wrong, but the head in QUADRUPLED body is same as in HUMANOID one. It means that neck snapping should be working on every being with head.

EDIT: Oh, joy, I found something:
Rigo, Wrestler: Come on, GCS, I will snap your neck!... oh, where is it?
GCS: I don't have head. I have cephalothorax.

Okay:
-Fixed some typos in tokens in raws. Shouldn't be more problems upon embark.
-File missing/corrupt problems fixed.
-Added some critters and a weapon ("assasin dagger", can be made from stone and dmg is pierce, not slashing. Hooray for stabbity fun!

There's pregenerated world called Ramul Mudung. Unfortunately, all dragons are dead, but there's 5 wars you should check:

Okay, I have nothing against Exile worshipping, but please - if u guys want to drop a post here just for that, consider not doing this. Really :P

From the news: Done entities - nephilim steal and devour humans, humans like each other and slaughter kitties, sliths worship demons/gods and slaughter all those named alligators around their towers.
Dragons are only megabeasts now.
Two new semi-megas will be: Golem (think of mini-bronze colossi) and Wizard ("Oh look, that guy tossed som-OH GODS I BUUURRRN!...")
