You decide that, because the humming stopped, and did not come back after you've waited for a while, the problem is solved.

You return to bed and your wife, and fall asleep with ease.


Grumbling and cursing spirits of the over and under-world, you massage your temples, staring at the corridor leading to the tower of misery.

The humming has returned, and again you have trouble sleeping.

A) The tower must go - we shall take it apart and send the rubble away from the palace!

C) Maybe I should investigate again? This sidequest doesn't seem completed yet.
D) I better find some exorcists and purge the tower from that humming pink thing!

RMS Frederik IV vs IJN Katori:

But it was all a ruse, for Frederik's gunners weren't incompetent at all! A hail of fiery lead rained upon the top decks of IJN Katori, blowing up one of the secondary batteries and dealing other kinds of damage nearby as well.

Crew of the Frederik seemingly knew how to run. How to shoot effectively, well, that was a whole different story.

IJN Katori's salvos were now very accurate; the shells penetrated the hull or cracked open layers of steel armour. Sooner or later (presumably sooner), King Frederik IV will run out of either!

Despite enemy evasive maneuvers, the main bridge of RMS King Frederik IV was hit, losing some armor plates in the process.

Most of Old Towns in Poland are like that.
