You decide to wait few days.

Your spies and scouts bring information as quickly as possible; the Damdamian army is led by Danus Fiscus, a general of great renown and great skill, just as Caius Cuscus was (who was relieved of the command). He is known for his devotion to Damedian faith, too.

The army in his command numbers thirty six thousand five hundred, of which a sixth is cavalry, with several hundred pieces of Fireblood weaponry for siegeing and demolishing purposes.

Spies report that the Damdamian Republic is continuing to rally, equip and march soldiers to Rucus staging areas, and already at least two thousand fresh troops are stationed in Rucusian borderlands.

They also bring news of a deal between Rucus and Damdamia; the King of Rucus has been greatly subsided with monetary wealth for allowing Damdamian troops through his territory.

The Damdamian Army, led by Danus, has already trespassed into Eval, but their marching direction is toward north rather than west, leading to a conclusion that Danus is eager to invade Methiant.

A) We must move and challenge him in a pitched battle!
B) We must remain here and observe his movements for now.
C) We must retreat toward the capital, gather troops and send for help!
