Hard cash is just exactly what we need. We're subsidizing Netherlands so that they get out of the terrible situation they're in, and currently we are losing money (84 ducats, to be more precise) per year...

Out of nowhere we get an information that the ruling dynasty of Brittany died out, and elderly Frederick now rules both kingdoms.
Brittany is the greatest colonizer of South Vinland; cotton, gold, tobacco, sugar, grain and copper are produced in great amounts in their colonies.
We just need to butter the Breton nobles with money and promises, for their relationship with us is quite sour.

George, heir to British throne, has managed to reach adulthood. Time to celebrate that fact!

5 points of Prestige isn't anything we can't recover in two years or so; the benefit boosted our Naval research a bit.

As our newly established Siberian Force is underway to, well, Siberia, a curious situation has developed without our input.
The core in Deren spawned Anglican zealots, and Saghalian Oula had patriot uprising; both, if successful, will have the provinces defect to us.

At last, the war Netherlands was embroiled in has been called to an end; they lost 3 colonies and core lands in Brabant and Gelre.

The revolt failed, but it has inspired the Parliament to ask King Frederick to declare a war to liberate the English nationals of Saghalian Oula.
To war! Our friends will help us, except Netherlands. The war declaration brought Xin, Assam and Nepal to the fray on Manchu's side.

Naturally, we must cripple Xin fleet before we can do anything more solid. Unfortunately in the meanwhile, Manchu capture the defenseless colony of Nerchiyansk (or whatever its name is).

Xin and Manchu remain alone as we dislodged the others from their coalition; despite occupation of Siberian colonies, our fleet is crippling their war exhaustion by blockades.
Victories like here allow us to pressure Manchu, but not yet; not until they give back Saghalian Oula.

Brittany especially helped here, dealing with Manchu fleet and their colonial (they have bits of East Africa) forces.

Xin Empire however is suprisingly stubborn, despite entirety of their coast blockaded and our forces destroying their troops in Siberia during battles like this one.
Only on 12th of July, the Xin Emperor finally relents and sends us an offer of white peace, which we agree to.

Aha, the population of English-born Persian-cultured Anglican-zealot Deren has declared itself subjects of Great Britain.
We don't even have to fight Persia for that one, woo!

But celebrations of the Christmas on the same year are marred with great mourning - King Frederick II Plantagenet has passed away and George III ascended to the throne.
Having ruled for 55 years, he has long surpassed the reign of Good Queen Anne. May he rest in peace!
