Spoiler (click to show/hide)

First combat of the war is a naval one; just south of Iberian peninsula, we crush one of enemy patrolling fleets.
King Frederick's plan for the war is simple; we disregard Sicillian colonial forces and instead siege their Italian holdings.

Our battle plans have become a little bit complicated, unfortunately.

It seems however that the Xin are using very oudated navies; their massive fleet of galleys was defeated by the fleet of Indian Company.
Still, they can overwhelm us with sheer numbers, so Royal Navy has been sent to ascertain British superiority on East Asian waters.

Khmer, Xin's ally and sender of small invasion forces across whole Indian Ocean decides to sign peace.
A day later, at Coast of Transkei, Royal Navy sinks the main Sicillian fleet that was ferrying troops from their colonies back to Europe. 22.000+ Sicillians became fishfood.

We get money and the Indian territories from Sicillians after Naples and Abruzzi are captured.
Royal Navy has caught Xin fleet in Dai Viet ports, allowing our India Company Fleet to reign supreme on the coasts or in colonies.

Through skillful maneuvering, the Royal Navy manages to deal the Xin fleet numerous defeats, including one at Mekong Delta, where almost half of their ships are sunk and few captured.

It took several years for the Xin to finally offer white peace. Even if status quo is maintained, Xin lost an aggressive war, and that will hit their prestige and legitimacy.

Lubeck and its tribal allies in Vinland fight against Brittany, our ally.
An opportunity to expand our colonies!

Aha! Finally, we can move onto more advanced form of government - Constitutional Monarchy, which gives 2.2 Magistrates per year and slows down Prestige decay.
Not that great set of bonuses, but easy to transition into. We switch immediatelly, losing only 1 point of Stability that is easily restored.

And now, we bite off a piece of Lubeck's colonial possessions.
Next time, we definitely can fight and annex Sultanate of Brunei!
