"Artifact?" Ethan lowered his new axe.

"Now I'm interested, tell me more."

I believe they're printing things on small scale now.

Affordable fine-quality scholarly volumes available in every Damdamian manor coming next year!

Or maybe ten, tops.

What's the state of printing technology?

Still far from 3D printers but slowly we're getting there.

:P

"Great." He took the axe and swung it slowly around, testing it, before pointing the sharp edge toward Fer.

"Now tell me how did you get caught by the pirates, because I think I didn't pay enough attention during fighting."

Congrats Eric for having healthy siblings C:

The Captain stood up and brushed himself off.

"Three things of importance - Marlow and Ashlyn, tie the remaining pirate up and toss him into a cell somewhere. Claude and Lavinia, take a look at the pier and docks, stare on the horizon if maybe there's a ship sneaking upon us." He then approached Gawen and looked at the Boarding Axe.

"If you're not planning to use it, I would really like to have it."

5768
Ethan, for his part, contributed to the plot by continuing his important duty of bleeding out on the floor.

The squad enters Office 1-1, which is in state of upset; datapads, containers and office items are strewn on the floor, with chairs and tables knocked over.

A Terminal in the southwestern corner is still functional. A small office door leads northwards, to Office 1-1.

TURN 17

Derran, Kyle, Keith and Alfred are all in Office 1-2.

You decline to support the Cartographers this time.

Only two audiences remain! Who's next?

A) The Damedians.
B) The Pantheonists.

...And as you consider your options, a guard arrives with information that a wealthy collector of items valuable, beautiful and magickal has arrived, willing to buy your trinkets.

C) The collector.

He set a timer on the poll, after timer expires polls can no longer be modified here on b12forums ;v

I vote yes.

You decide to talk with cartographers next.

"Greetings, Emperor Houlandin!" The seven men bow their heads. "As you know, we've studied the continent in all directions possible, and whilst our friends who ventured northwest haven't returned yet, we have high hopes for them."

"However, we would also like to get funds and a royal letter that will allow us to venture west and south. We're considering an expedition by the mountains between Damdamians and Eldricans, and then into southwestern plains, and further west. Dwarves are said to have many fortresses there, along with their fabled capital, coated in layers of copper and brass."

A) "Sorry, we're currently too busy to fund another expedition."
B) "Oh, alright. Bring me the maps of the dwarven homelands!"

5774
You decide to meet with the Spymaster.

"Our agents sent their first reports. Eldricans are currently increasing Army budgeting and curbing down on spontaneous expenses and construction projects, sire. My agents have also found out that King Feir has begun a reform of the nomads' military structures; their horse troops are being regimented into numbered units and Fireblood weapons are replacing their usual bows and arrows."

"That's all?"

"It's been only a month, sire." The Spymaster tips his hat and vanishes into shadows. How does a man vanish into shadows during a very sunny day with clear skies is beyond your comprehension, but you reckon that's how Spymasters earn their titles...

Oh right! Who's next?

A) The Damedians.
B) The Pantheonists.
C) The Cartographers.

You send your agents to do gather information about Eldricans and their armies.

Both Springwine and surplus t'chai have sold for considerable profits! These are nicely supplanted by gemstones, although due to civil war the gold bullion was stolen by rebels or otherwise lost.

The Spymaster wishes to meet with you just as the guards mention that scholars from Cartographers' Guild are asking for an audience, along with a some Pantheonist priests, and that there's also a delegation of Order of Father's Sword, some Damedian organization based in Rucus and Damedia, demanding an audience. Apparently, they are here to talk about your heathenry.

The first of the queue to met with you will be...

A) The cartographers.
B) The Spymaster.
C) The Damedian monks.
D) The Pantheonist priests.
