Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If you looked on previous update's images, you could've noticed that Bavaria blobbed over Brabantian lands; they got kicked for that, ha!
Meanwhile, Albrecht of Austria has died and his son Ludwig took over.

Crap. Pray for little Leopold; he is 8 years old and thus only halfway thru childhood. Lots of things can happen.
Shortly afterwards, Scotland, Poland and Brandenburg got some uppity peasants, too. What's this, an early Spring of Nations?

While usually its better to go plutocratic and get mad cash, the mad cash offered this time was 6 and half ducats.
We will go properly aristocratic then!

And this is one of the major reasons you might want to take Patron of Arts early on. With high Administrative skill of the ruler (or Regency Council, in our example), this has chance to trigger.
+2 Revolt risk in an HRE OPM is basically nothing, in exchange for two moves towards Innovative (faster techs), +2 prestige and 50 ducats, which is hella fortune at this part of the game.
Therefore, architectural development it is!
That added prestige helped us finish 'Gain Prestige' mission, bumping our Prestige by 10 points. Slowly, slowly, we're getting them points!
In 1418, an event pits us against Brunswick; we decide to accept the diplomatic insult, as the other option is to lose prestige.

Phew! Young Leopold ascends to the throne, and his heir, Simon is almost equally skilled as him in both administration and military. Unfortunately, Simon has lowest natural score possible (3) in diplomacy.
Hopefully that won't affect much in the future.

Unfortunately, the moment Leopold tries to centralize his power, people of Lippe rise against him! But unlike Bavaria and the others, the God is with Leopold, and his army will crush the rebel scum!

Or not.
With the palace captured and Leopold sent running to his buddies in Cleves, the peasants forced the court to decentralize all the way.
Stupid peasants!

Leopold might've failed militarily but he will succeed culturally.

He also vents his frustrations on foreign rebels.
One day, rebels, we will centralize all the way to the left, you just wait! For now, we will remain smol and feudal and medieval.
