What was the worst decision the players ever made?

Ask them not me v:

You decide to wait till morning.

And lo! In the morning, Ajarat Padarashka arrives with entourage of soldiers. His turban-wearing men glare down at your cloaked Shadowcloaks, with reciprocation.

"So, Emperor of Methiant negotiates with the general of his friends. Truly an unfortunate situation we have here. We, the Simians, come to reclaim our lost lands and rescue our people from Parsian oppression, after Emperor Yoe assures of his friendship, but look! The Methiantese Army comes in full force, withotu doubt to stop us. Where's this friendship you wrote so assuredly to the most glorious Emperor of Sim, Mahjar Sim? If you were truly our friend, you would join in our endeavour so we would share in loot and territories." He sits down on the sand and crosses his legs.

"Sadly, that can't be a case anymore, now can it? We will sit and truly to avoid bloodshed, for I was ordered to conquer Parsia, not butcher friends from Methiant."

You tell him that...

A) He needs to wait till you get Parsian envoys to negotiate with him.
B) He needs to return to Sim and never threaten Parsia again.
C) He will have your help in conquering Parsia after all!
D) You hope he will have a glorious battle with you!

What is the literacy rate of Methiant
and pre-invasion Tiftit,
and other nations?

Standard literacy rate for medieval based class society without public schooling and freedom of speech.
All but bookkeepers and helears were illiterate.

What does "AD" stand for if not Anno Domini?

After Descent (of Pantheonist Gods). It's the standard calendar numbering for peoples from Koi to Helliste ;v

Also, I'm now introducing NAQ - Non-Answer Question - to this thread. Anything I haven't thought about and thus have no answer for will be answered with NAQ ;v

In these situations can we start pitching potentially-canon answers to you?

No V:

I consider all current applications valid and thus I'm making... lists.

So, how have Hurthlings adapted to Methiant rule? Are they kind of chill with it?

They're currently so chill with it they actively help the vineyard industry implemented by Methiantese officials v;

If this were Europa Universalis, Hurthlings would be listed under 'Accepted Cultures' :P

I wish the Hurthlings would finally start moving to other parts of our empire. Partly so I don't have large amounts of stress whenever other countries target our only known sustainable population of them. Anyone who hurts our adorable midget farmers should face the full wrath of the Empire!

They really don't like moving around. They like their cozy valley. Only the crazy ones like Bibber Baggar venture out on great adventures to vanquish evil.

Others are fine with growing cabbages, grapes and barley all their lives :P

So can the blade of puncturing pierce through hard forgotten beast shell/hide or does that not count as armour?.

It's called Blade of Puncturing, yes.

Since the Luathbasians appearantly like the Goat enough to put it on their coat of arms do we have any distinctly Luathbasians breeds of Goat? How important of a cultural symbol is the Goat to our people now?... Do the nobility keep pet Goats?  :P

The first 'kingdom' had rulers coming from goat herders, so they placed a goat on the banner, and it remained there long afterwards.

No war goats for you.

You send an envoy, inviting Ajarat for negotiations.

The lone envoy's ride through the evening is a tense one; your scouts monitor the presence of his lit torch, but it seems that Simians are civilized enough, for he was not struck down.

You wait, and as the night progresses and the moon slowly climbs towards its highest point, the sentries report that the rider is returning, his torch lit.

The envoy kneels in front of you.

"Ajarat Padarashka is willing to negotiate, but tomorrow morning, after breakfast. He will take few dozen soldiers with him, for he have heard many tales about Methiant, and does not believe you can safeguard his life."

A) "I requested negotiations today! He refused, so we attack!"
B) "Very well, we will speak in the morning."

Your officers mention a certain possibility...

A) If he comes, we strke him down, and spread chaos in his army!
B) If he comes, we negotiate. Tis what I wanted!

6255
You decide to lead the army against Ajarat's!

A week later, your Army has the Simians within so-called sights, because the scouts report contact with the enemy.

As the day draws to a close, the scouts bring new report; Ajarat Padarashka has turned his forces west and stationed them on a hilly area. He is arranging his regiments in a clearly defensive position.

Your commanders believe if you were to push forward, the battle could occur before dawn tomorrow.

A) Ride! Ride forward! Make night the witness of our glorious victory!
B) We will strike in the morning!
C) We shall wait till morning and then see what happens!
D) I ought to invite him for negotiations and explain why he should leave Parsia at once, or else!
