A week or so later, a delegation of dwarves arrives from Zasitost, the closest of the dwarven halls. The bearded dignitary bows his bearded head, his square hat dangling its frills.

"We have heard about your troubles. In exchange for some silver - we hope you didn't think we would help you for free - our runesmiths will be able to discern an approximate location of the Scepter of Weather."

A) "Here is your coinage, now give me information!"
B) "Can we negotiate for the payment, please?"
C) "Greedy midgets! Begone from my court!"

But somewhere in your heart you have this nagging feeling that it might not be enough!

A) Get the Army involved, we will beat them with sheer numbers of detectives working on the case!!
B) Could the Dwarves divine the Scepter's location? They do instal GPS into their artifacts, right!?
C) The Flying Horse, it can do wonders, it can find my thief! Spot it from the skies with its lazor stare or something!!
D) Consult the oracles and seers of Pantheon! Scry for the thief's location! Ask the God of Truth!!
E) Wizard! Wizard! Where's a supernatural detective when you need one!?
F) Of course it will be enough, silly!

They also force into slavery those of their human subjects who have outstanding debts and are unable to pay them after a time.
