You ask him for a song. He introduces himself as Tywynn and swears he will play the sweetest of songs for you.

Quote
5*

As Tywynn plays for you, you feel more and more sure of the fact that he isn't as good bard as he seems to be! It looks to you that it is the plinkings of the harp that are making his music better... and him more charming. Other noblewomen giggle and stare at him as if he was a shiny trinket, but you're folloed no more!

You invite him somewhere more secluded, and once the youngster falls into your trap, you push him for answers. He takes his hat off, bows like a jester and grins sheepishly.

"I was once an adventurer, and yes, this harp seems to be enchanted. I've been much more successful with maidens and wenches since I've obtained it... Lady Empress being one of few those who haven't befallen to its charm." You scoff at him. How many women he has wooed with the help of the harp? How many families did he disrupt?

"Dungeon or execution, then? After all, you've tried to bewitch a married woman and an Empress of Methiant." The Bard grimaces and hastily falls to his knee, the grimace replaced with unsure smile.

"Anything for you, Lady Empress, even for free, just... spare me that date with your executioner."

You demand that...

A) He becomes your court musician and charms your political opponents into submission.
B) He tours the Empire and uses the harp's magic to soothe your subjects' spirits.
C) He leaves the Empire and never comes back, if he wants to keep his harp and his life intact.

I'm actually kind of tempted to make a book or novel or something about the events that happen in these games, probably in the style of a history book or something.

Start with first SPAMKINGDOM as proper book, then make a novel about SPAMKINGDOM+, and finally 50% thicker sequel book that is SPAMKINGDOM#

You can do it, I believe in you :3

You arrange a grand ball for Summer time!

1143 AD, Summer

The ball is underway. Everyone is listening to great music (apparently some very talented bard is performing), and you have a dance with Cyl first. But the ball room is full of noblemen and thus full of plots and rumors.

It isn't long till you have few drinks, lose Cyl in the commotion, and end listening along several noblewomen to the lovely ballads of the bard. He is young, charming, handsome, and oh gaaaawds that soothing, melodic voice. This man is a true talent, one in a generation - or maybe the wine has dimmed your hearing.

After he finishes his bawdy 'Ballad of Ceold and Ynylla', he turns to you and tips his hat.

"Does Lady Empress of Methiant has a special request?"

You decide to...

A) Pass.
B) Ask for another song.
C) Invite him to become the court musician.
D) Ask he tours the country on your behalf, singing to soothe your subjects' minds.

You reaffirm Doge as your heir. The Advisor inscribes your decision upon the scroll, and you weakly stamp the prepared wax seal with your royal signet.

And the sickness is gone. Your healers prescribe a vegetable diet and herbal water instead of sweet fruits and fatty meats for now. However, even without the diet, you feel great again!

1183 AD, Mid-Spring

A ball! A grand ball!

That's what your noblemen are demanding nowadays. The country is strong, prosperous and stable, so they don't really have anything else to do - so why not arrange a grand ball to celebrate your returning to health and Cyl's visit?

A) *vuvuzela noises* Party time!!!
B) No.

So, what is the religious census now?

before it was suggested that we had three state religions because pantheonist singularism and alldivines were the big ones

but it seens that the majority of our population is pantheonist now, how much we have from the others? 60% pantheonists 15% singularist 15%alldivines 10% others?

also, how work the religious structure? can the archpriest/priests be monarcs/nobles at the same time? is it possible that if we decide to put that state relgion edict at work we might use the chance to make that plan of us becoming the head of the religion?

Majority means at least 66% of populace is adhering to Pantheonist faith ;v

All the faiths in Methiant and elsewhere stick to the 'elected by high clerics' position of the head of the church. Only the Gubtan faith is different, cuz it places the First Emperor as god and his sons being sons of a god.

You decide to stick to traditional Methiantese medicine.

You fight the illness, but it is not relenting. In the late evening, you're woken up by the Advisor. You smile, seeing Cyl at your side, but your husband looks extremely worried. The Advisor procures a scroll from within his robes and leans to whisper.

He says something about a heir? Ah yes... they're being cautious, you assume.

A) As is written already: it's Doge.
B) My daughter Cylia.
C) My daughter Ciri.
D) Husbando Cyl.
E) Princess Eiri.
F) Princess Graine.
G) Prince Deathan.
H) Someone else? You don't remember the other dynasticals at the moment...

Ultimately, once again, you decide against issueing an Edict.

You go down with a high fever and a feeling of a worm eating away at your intestines, although your doctors assure you it is just your feverish imagination working. Still, the court is alarmed by your sudden bout of illness. Your courtiers and healers are split about the way you should be treated.

Any preference, Lady Empress?

A) I will pray to God of Health, and the Pantheon shall deliver!
B) Local herbs and the traditional medical treatments of Methiant are the best. I trust my healers.
C) Bring me the healing stone, I shall cling to it so that it heals me.
D) Time for a therapy of aromatic spices and roots from Gubta, some are medicinal ones after all!
