CHATTY: "And how it is going nowadays, besides turning to heavier cargo loads?"

"It's going well. Since I started delivering electronics to more remote outposts and colonies rather than trying to squeeze myself into busy-lane crowds, that's it."

"Busy-lane? I am not familiar with the concept."

"Ah, it's merchant slang of sorts. Busy-lanes are straight connections between one regional capital and another. Basically running between two largest colonies. Heavy traffic, heavy policing by Fedpols, and even heavier competition. We've ran Delta Serpentis II-Morbius Prime lane for few months."

"And how was it?"

"Ah, quite difficult. Had to basically elbow and yell may way to planetside merchants so that they would buy my wares. And then I had to elbow and yell my way to local providers and suppliers so that I had something to take into the stars." He looks into the empty glass.

"I would like a Simpleton now." Another drink you haven't heard about, so you punch it into the console and...

A) CHATTY: "I'm wondering what exactly made you change your lanes and start visiting less populated places."
B) CHATTY: "If you don't mind me asking, what's the most memorable place you've went to?"
D) FLIRTY: "You are really quite something, you know? Suave, handsome, confident, it ruffles my feathers, so to speak~"

CHATTY:"You own a merchantship so I know you sell wares to outposts and colonies. What sort of goods you deal in?"

"Ah, it's not much of variety there. Electronics, mostly of frivolous kind. Entertainment devices and toys, subspace radios, virtual reality and holo-deck equipment, dreamscape inductors... Interested?"

A) "Sure, show me your wares."
B) "Nah, but..." (pick one of previous topics)

//100 pages of bartending, woo!

CHATTY: "You're not the first person to come here with a merchantship named with numbers. What's up with that?"

"Ah, yes. Fifty-fifty. The percentage ratio of ships I've owned versus those that I have wrecked."

"I assume one wrecked, one active?" Vincent takes a sip of his mix.

"You're a clever guy. Yeah, I had one ship before, for half a year."

"What have happened?"

"I worked small scale back then. You know, as a courier. I was like many others, a young pilot, confident in his skills, fetching parcels and cargo crates here and there. I had an Aviso, one of newer models back then. One day I had to go through a recently liberated star system, and instead of going around a fresh debris field, I was thinking 'hey my ship is small and agile, I can cut through no problem to save time'. Well. I was very wrong back then." He takes a sip again.

"There was an unexploded missile or torpedo or some such floating about the field, which I didn't notice and I accidentaly bumped my ship's starboard thruster against it. And, boom."

"But you've managed to survive."

"Yeah, but the ship and the cargo I was carrying was a total loss. Barely managed to haul my ass into escape pod and launch clear of the debris field before the Aviso exploded. Had some dumb luck back then, too - another ship was passing by the debris field at the same time so not even one hour later I was on way back to Gamma Draconis. Still, learned my lesson."

"You decided to name your next ship 50-50 because of that?"

"Sorta, you know, good luck charm? I mean, I had it for four years now and nothing major like that happened." He raises the glass. "Here's hoping it stays that way." He drinks the remainder of his mix and puts the glass down.

A) CHATTY: "And how it is going nowadays, besides turning to heavier cargo loads?"
B) CHATTY:"You own a merchantship so I know you sell wares to outposts and colonies. What sort of goods you deal in?"
C) CHATTY:"Your glass is empty. Should I try and magic up another mix somewhere near your preferences?"
D) FLIRTY: "Man, so daring and handsome, you are really quite something, you know~?"

You start preparing a Smooth Criminal for Vincent. He eyes as you put the cocktail glass and scratches his chin.

"What are you mixing?"

"Smooth Criminal."

"Ah. I know that one." He patiently waits until you finish pouring the three synthols into the cocktail glass, and when you serve the mix to him, he quickly points his credchip at you to scan. (+111c)

50/50 closes the channel.

You decide to clean after Tyomas a little before the new group of patrons arrives.

In midst of preparations your wetware chip reminds you that your sleep period (2015-0215) is approaching.

Hopefully the incoming crew won't take too long.

1236USY.7d/1m.1930h

Shortly after "50/50" docks, its crew arrives. Three men and two women in white-and-grey jumpsuits, led by a tall man with slick white hair and shades covering his eyes. His skin is tanned, and a large round earring dangles on his right ear. He also wears white-and-grey jumpsuit, but on top of that, a fashionably-looking black trenchcoat. He also wears black gloves.

He sits at the counter while his crew seats itself at nearby table.

"Well hello there, SRC bartender!" He says with a bright smile.

"A round of Wóda shots for my crew, for starters." Your pour the shots while the man fishes out his credchip - silver with black countours. You pass the shots to the five behind him, and the man lets you scan his credcship. (+25c)

The young prince angrily slams the chalice against the table.

"Trade!? Do I looks a merchant of trifls to you?? How dares!" The prince quickly stands up, only to trip over his own legs and faceplant the table. He gets better, though - and draws his sword! Both your councilmen and his entourage gasp and get themselves ready for a fight.

"I shallenge you to a duel! To deaf!!" He wobbily points the sword at you.

You decide to...

A) Duel the drunk prince.
B) Decline the duel.
C) Throw the prince into a dungeon until he sobers up.
D) Try to talk him out of this terrible duel idea.

"Of course, I will be here."

"Great." And he walks away from the counter and to the gate, crossing it and leaving the place the moment you hear beeping from the sensors station. You quickly check what's the ruckus about, but isn't it obvious?

A new ship is approaching!
