Well, to be fair, you did base those games off of a Steam release indie title known as Kingdom. As you imitate that game to flatter, so too do others imitate you to flatter. It's a circle, my friend.

After your explanation gets an answer, the talk ping-pongs back and forth, escalating into violent removal of your personage from the castle, under protection of your many guards, as the clergy shouted 'godless!' 'blasphemer!' 'despot!' at your back, trying to get at it. Several high clerics and acolytes present have been injured in the fisticuffs with your guards, some greviously, and the whole matter gathered quite some attention from a crowd of peasants and citizenry. Only time will tell how this affects your authority and mood of the populace.

A week later you're back at the palace, and the court is in uproar. Some courtiers believe that you shouldn't have been present at the council or that you should've repealed the acts. Some believe this should be mediated to prevent violence, some think that the clergy needs to be reined in by force.

As for the volatile edicts of Religious Tax and Religious Equality...

B) I will repeal the Tax, as promised, but Equality stays!
C) They've done it, so no repealing of any edicts!

As for the reaction to the violent and dishonorable conduct of the clergy...

A) Send them all a letter, asking for formal apology.
B) Request a proper monetary compensation for your lost honor.
C) Issue arrests for the priests responsible for the violence.
D) Leave them be, this time.

Why the heck are all those various unrelated suggestion games using 'spam' prefix? Most of them have more than one character design option or don't even use 'one of few' choice options, and updates are both lengthy and come about rarely - basically antithesis of spam progression!
