Also it might make sense to have an option D: have our Shadowranks officers find him since we're too old and rheumatic to go look for the fucker.

But but but, the drama! The suspense!

You announce that those who shall move to the far side of the mountains to mine gold for the Crown will be subsidized.

1159 AD, Midwinter

Apparently thousands of people heard both your call for move and the rumors of rich gold deposits. People are arranging themselves into caravans and groups of adventurers, and you hear that even whole families wander off into the unknown.

1159 AD, End of the Year

Tap tap tap, your wrinkly fingers go on the desk. You assume this would be the regular time for the Advisor to pop in with the Scrolls of Kingdom Status, but he is nowhere to be seen.

You wait a longer while, but even the highly dramatic blizzard outside doesn't seem to be bringing the old man in.

You decide to look for him in...

A) The wine cellar, he must've been over-sampling the beverages.
B) The grand library, surely he is looking for a misplaced accounting ledger.
C) The bedchambers, probably he is snoozing on a comfy chair somewhere.

You decide to pass on the riches of the east once again.

1159 AD, Winter

Silver arrives in the Treasury, the gems are sent northwards.

The glassware brought profits as well. Even better, the high quality of this year's shipments pleased nobles and merchants alike.

Goooooold!

The feverish news of huge gold deposits struck in the far northwest of Rainbow Lizard Mountains reach the court, causing many nobles to drool with greed. However, the Empire does not control these lands; its some intrepid prospectors and merchants, snooping around, who have found the precious ore.

You decide to...

A) Stake a claim on the area, in hopes of driving away potential competitors.
B) Rush the settlement policy and sponsor settling and claiming of the new rich deposits.
C) Ignore this event, the area is too far from your reach and too close to Eldricans.

The sales of wine from Tiftit turned out to be surprisingly low and barely evened out the costs of making it. Your merchants chalk it up to the pickiness of your nobles.

Important news come from Helliste - trade ships from a distant eastern land called 'Chia' have arrived in Helliste!

Apparently these intrepid, fat merchants come from shores not far southeast from Gan Minsong. They've brought dyes and fabrics similar to those used by Gans, as well as numerous new spices, fruits and exquisite new pottery type. It has this strange, shiny surface, 'decorated' with cracks and divided into plates but not a single drop of water seems to be leaking through those broken vessels.

The merchants themselves arrived in ships made of red wood (definitely not painted), which itself seems to be rather lightweight and bouyant. They even had few items made of wood, but just like the clay vessels, they had this dark red, even crimson, shine to them. Absurd pricing of these items by Chia merchants however prohibited all but few wealthiest Helliste merchants nobles from obtaining them.

Already there is quite some interest in these pottery wares by nobles of Helliste, and even those of Dahnia and Cydwyl. Seems that King of Helliste bought greatest amount of these eastern new items, numbering over 170.

A) Can I haz chiawares pls?
B) Our glass and wine are superior to anything the outsiders bring!

What religion is dominant in Cydwyl?

Predominantly Pantheonism, although of Dahnian kind, so your local deities might wary.

Singlularism and Alldivinism are minorities (no more than 10% adherents). Other faiths and pagan beliefs don't even register on Cydwyllian religious radar.
