The sales of wine from Tiftit turned out to be surprisingly low and barely evened out the costs of making it. Your merchants chalk it up to the pickiness of your nobles.
Important news come from Helliste -
trade ships from a distant eastern land called 'Chia' have arrived in Helliste!Apparently these intrepid, fat merchants come from shores not far southeast from Gan Minsong. They've brought dyes and fabrics similar to those used by Gans, as well as numerous new spices, fruits and exquisite new pottery type. It has this strange, shiny surface, 'decorated' with cracks and divided into plates but not a single drop of water seems to be leaking through those broken vessels.
The merchants themselves arrived in ships made of red wood (definitely not painted), which itself seems to be rather lightweight and bouyant. They even had few items made of wood, but just like the clay vessels, they had this dark red, even crimson, shine to them. Absurd pricing of these items by Chia merchants however prohibited all but few wealthiest Helliste merchants nobles from obtaining them.
Already there is quite some interest in these pottery wares by nobles of Helliste, and even those of Dahnia and Cydwyl. Seems that King of Helliste bought greatest amount of these eastern new items, numbering over 170.
