As I'm pretty sure we've conquered most of those three regions does that mean that we've united the three Luathbasians groups under us? Seeing as how we've taken most if not all of the core lands of Luathbas could we reclaim Luathbas as their successors?

Also does Pantheonism have more actually real mystical aspects to it compared to other Luathbasian religions? Since we've only really seens Pantheon spirit stuff and not mystical spirit stuff for other religions?

Technically, yes. Though you would have to switch to Pantheonism first to truly champion Methiant as 'continuators of Luathbas' :P

Pantheonism comes from the worship of Gods that Descended (the day of that event started the AD calendar). While their mythology got wonky, their deities numbers' inflated and their magical powers waned greatly, they still have the most mysticism going around, what with mostly working purifications, rituals and augury.

Would it be possible for one of our kings to become a sourcerer or similiar type of ability?

Has their been cases of a human, dwarf or elf ruling another species society, and how well did it end up for them and their line?

No. Humans are incapable of magic.

Almost none, except few brief stints, arguably the time of SPAMKINGDOM when Houlandin II had elven wife-queen also counts.

So how have the people of the Luathbas region changed culturally now since the time of Luathbas? I'm already pretty knowledgeable about how we've changed religiously but I'm curious if there has been any similar extreme culture changes?

Luathbas peoples were strongest united in times before and during Luathbas, the first unity achieved during Tygwand Dynasty of the early 600s.

Since then they've drifted into three cultures and kingdoms; Felonsine (western Luathbas), Methiantese (eastern Luathbas) and Ceodwellian (south-eastern Luathbas), the latter is very strongly mixed with Parsians as those lands were Parsian till conquest by Houlandine Dynasty.

Ceodwellians and Methiantese got many new faiths going with them, while Felonsines mostly stuck to Pantheonism; thus Felonsines could be said be the 'true' Luathbasians.

Ah. Is there a way that we can try to keep the magic/fanciful stuff around or are we just doomed to lose our ability to interact with magical stuff as the game/history goes on?
Would a really big war against a common enemy or a huge depopulation event fix this?

If a local depopulation event occurs, would the magical races move in to this place or such?

No, the future of the world is set on being de-magified as humans become the supreme race on it. I have few ways to take it back to 'magic-filled fantasy world', but that would mean lots of bad things to happen to Methiant in meanwhile. Keep eyes peeled though!

How many dynasties we ruled? only Yoean?

3 so far, one represented by each main SPAMKINGDOM game (original, + and #).

How much progress have we made on fireblood since we first found it? Is it more deadly, advanced, etcera?

At first it was Greek Fire-like substance manufactured in far west. As the chemisty behind it was worked out in the east, it was remade more into standard gunpowder and explosive substance it is used as today (simply because its easier to handle and has more uses).

When we helped Cydwyl with their civil war, they gave us some land as a prize. I recall you saying that this land had been divided when Cydwyl and Methiant split into seperate nations. At which point in history were the two nations one, and why did they split?

Either I ate some words or you read it wrong; no, it is Domain of Donuth that was split. Its first (and last) overlord died and his kids went into mad rush to claim gibs on the throne, and Cydwyls and Methiant banded together to get halves of it for themselves.

Southern went to Methiant (then ruled by Yoe II, I believe), the northern became part of Cydwyl, then ruled by Queen Dogethe. The land that Cidric gave you as prize was the northern half, so entirety of 'Domain of Donuth' now belongs to Methiantese crown.

As for your other question, this is lore thread, not mystery solving thread :P

Anyway is it just me or does it seem like we're encountering magical stuff/beings/races less than we did back during the days of Luathbas? Though we did recently discover Orcworld so it might just be me being a bit paranoid.

Its human proliferation that causes magical races to hide, and with them the magic hides as well. As humans 'blob' across the continent, even megabeasts, ghosts, demons and fantasy stock dragons will stop showing up.

How many people were killed by the sum total of our plots? What about our wars?

Pretty sure that Yoean dynasty cannot be responsible for more than 200 to 300 thousand deaths so far.

Who was this elf that Houladin III had married?

It was Houlandin II's wife actually, and she was elven princess who lost the civil war in Elven Forest of Tisilenteliya, her name was Aolineniya.

This is so cool! Thanks Haspen!

So.. what did actually happened to the Fomorians?

They were a great migratory savage race loitering in Grey Rockfields. Few tribes went east and died in Houlandin II's Luathbas, majority went northwards and most probably were driven off by pre-Albionese. If they're still around, they would prolly be hiding in some mountains up there.

Is it like the easiest difficulty setting? (I suppose it ties into lore...)

Still not sure what you mean because SPAMKINGDOM has no difficulty settings?

Because why the heck not? The short length of updates and speed of the game itself doesn't lend much space for verbose paragraphs describing the world and its inhabitants. Here, you can ask where Fomorians went, why the calendar is AD while it doesn't mean Anno Domini, and so on.

I will try to reply as often and as accurately as possible ;V

Old Series:

SPAMKINGDOM: Houlandine Dynasty of Luathbas (800 - 892 AD)
SPAMKINGDOM+: Elected Overlords of Tven (956 - 985 AD)
SPAMKINGDOM#: Yoean Dynasty of Methiant (1076 AD - hiatus?)

New Series?:

SPAMKINGDOM 3: Lycwlian Dynasty of Kastoria (400 AEC - ongoing)

NAQ means No-Answer Question. If I post a NAQ, your question is without answer. Further prying around the question will only result in more NAQs.

You say that even in your advanced age, you can perform feats of epicness! The Wizard leaves, saying he will know when to return to appraise your deed.

Your courtiers help you find the two-fish lake, its Daisk Lake just few hours northeast from Tven Mountains and into the border of Cydwyl.

The next morning, you leave the courtiers in charge of the Empire and as co-regents of little Owyn, and you're off.

Congratulations! Cyl I embarks on an Epic Quest!

Cyl will carry with himself some Supplies. Each time he rests, either because of the time or wounds or exhaustion, he will use some of these. He needs some on return journey, or else he will starve!

A week later, you leave a house of nobleman who has given you even more supplies than you left the palace with. (Supplies: 11)

Lake Daisk is a remote location, and no settlements are near it, for it has no inflow nor outflow, and fish does not live there, making the reed-guarded lake not of real use to humans.

Apparently, there's a road through nearby hills that leads to it in somewhat snaky way, but from what you learned from the nobleman, a willow-peppered marsh separates it from the civilization.

A) Taking the marsh will bring us to our goal faster.
B) Taking the road will be safer and easier.

You admit that you do not know the price worthy a Wizard. The robed man considers your words for a while, and then looks up into your eyes. You feel as if some being of power far greater than anything in this world is staring right into the very center of yourself.

"A long ago, there was a powerful dynasty, and one of its leaders was a powerful king. He now sits, under the lake of two fish, waiting, for his burial was indecent and respect was not given to him. If you can find him, and perform three tasks to restore his honor and let him earn his place in the halls of afterlife, I will consider this a good enough deed to be a payment."

You tell him that you will send one of your brave and wise sons to-

"No, this is a task that you must do yourself, because it is you who have called upon me, and it is you who seeks my assistance."

A) "Agreed, I shall restore the honor of the King under two-fish lake!"
B) "Nah, I cannot do this. How about..." (pick another choice from the list above if you take this route)

7393
You decide to seek help of a Wizard.

Quote
6*

Less than a week later, one is found wandering along the roads just north of the capital, and upon nagging of your courier, is sent to the palace.

The man is dressed in simple hooded robe of white beige fabric. His beard is long, soft and like snow in color. His two green eyes sparkle like emeralds.

"I have heard that this human society requires me services. I'm a servant of good, thus I have listened to the plea, and here I am, knowing what troubles you; it is Crystalwater Ironbeak, the servant of ether, who has wandered into your nation, and is causing destruction with its careless sleepwalking. But I also know how to solve your problems, yet you must know that my services are not for free. How shall I be paid, however, it is a question for you to answer, as you can see I need no riches nor material items in my life."

You decide to...

A) Offer him a place in your court for how long he wants, and access to all the luxuries he would ask for.
B) Offer him a magical item, The Rainbow Scepter, crafted by and infused with powerful Dwarven magics.
C) Offer him a Ducal title and ownership of a city, and even autonomy from your rule and freedom from taxation, if he so desires.
D) Admit that you do not know what to offer him, and therefore ask him to name his price.
E) Demand him to lend his services for free - because you're Emperor, and nobody refuses the Emperor!
