So ta-da!

You decide to send one of your sons as commander and as representative of the Emperor, to help foster unity between Eldrican and Methiantese soldiers. Your courtiers murmur for a while, before Iwald stands up.

"I will go, and prove my skills once again!" The kid's full of drive today, it seems.

A) "No, Houlandin will go instead."
B) "Go then, and bring us glory!"

but apparently I have the worst flag ever.

I beg your pardon :P

Aka Haspen got high on sugar again and mashed some old concepts together to create yet another forum game abomination.

And yes, it was inspired by this game also!

...The part I find most hilarious is the background convo between short-head swordsman and a random cat :P

He is probably drunk and the cat is staring at him 'go home John you're drunk' way.

You decide that the other 'world' is best left alone and the entrance simply guarded, this way you can control orcish incursions and possibly keep Ironbone Mountains safe forever. Dispatches are sent to the mountainous garrisons, to establish a perimeter around the cave.

Next is the diplomat from Tetan I.

The diplomat goes on that your Army officers seem to not realize whom they're fighting with. While the tactic of bombardment horses is sound one against few hundred auxiliaries, the rate of Fireblood machines' fire is not that useful against thousands upon thousands of fast-moving, fighting-and-retreating, backstabbing and circling horse nomads. Furthermore, they refuse to adopt the Eldrican approach of fielding cavalry units to counter the initial charges, instead preferring to find a defensive terrain and weather the assaults there.

"My master, Tetan I's finds your army's arrogance and superiority complex unacceptable for the goal of mutual military cooperation. He asks that you control your troops more definitely, otherwise he sees no real advantage in continuing the cooperative military endeavour." Your courtiers murmur; the officers and your sons, especially Iwald, believe that its Eldricans who are simply too arrogant to accept the superiority of well-honed and professional Methiantese.

A) "Fine then, my soldiers will be going home, thank you very much!"
B) "It is King Tetan who is wrong. Tell him that, and ask him to order his officers to listen to the superior experience and knowledge of my professional officers."
C) "Seems that it was my Army officers who were wrong after all. You can assure your King that I will send orders to my soldiers, asking them to listen to their Eldrican counterparts."
D) "I will send one of my military sons to better coordinate our forces and foster unity between our peoples!"

You decided to deal with orcish thing first.

The messenger drops to his knee.

"My liege! A terrific and startling discovery was made by our brave soldiers sent to investigate the orcish cave. They say they've marched through it for what seemed a day, and emerged on the other side. The landscape they saw was rocky and without trees, but what startled them most was the place's nightly stay - and two golden moons above!!" The courtiers gasp and murmur loudly before the messenger is allowed to speak again.

"Then the orcs attacked their camp and they had to retreat, but they brought news of what they've seen, and dispatched me to inform you of this with haste." Truly, nobody expected the Orcish Inqui- world to actually exist. Or maybe the soldiers got drunk? Still...

A) A new world awaits us! More soldiers into the mountains, we need to know more about our future holdings!
B) A world filled with orcs ready to flood over? We need to explode the cave and seal the path immediately!
C) A portal to mystical unknown world? We need a Wizard to deal with this supernatural occurence!
D) A chokepoint like this will be easy to defend. Just post some guards and orcish problem gets solved forever!

You send an angry letter to Tetan I, explaining that his officers are undermining the efforts and competency of your glorious army.

1146 AD, Late Spring

While you're being informed that Eldrican-Methiant forces to work together and beat up the Khanate a bit, it seems that two people want to meet with you; a diplomat sent by Tetan I to discuss military misunderstandings, and a messenger from the mountain expedition, apparently bringing some terrific and urgent news.

First you decide to deal with the...

A) West.
B) South.

Wao such near-tie V;

It was accident, and thus Iwald is forgiven.

Success in the Ironbone mountains! A tribe of orcs has been decimated and finally a possible source of all things orcish has been located; deep in the mountains, in a secluded valley that rarely sees sunlight due to high peaks surrounding it, your men discovered a cave, as wide as four wagons and taller than a hovel, surrounded by graves and totems of orcs and their trophies (read: victims). At the time of writing this report, your officers are already preparing a search team to investigate the giant cave.

Meanwhile, there was a calamity in the fighting against the nomads; in heat of battle, the Eldricans didn't provide enough cover for your Thundercats, resulting in massacre of your soldiers, capture of valuable Fireblood machines, and subsequent routing of Eldrican forces.

According to your officers (those who survived that's it), four thousand Methiantese total perished in this single battle, and at least thirty machines have been lost to Ogan's men. Eldrican generals are blaming yours for 'being in the way at the worst possible moment', while your officers are blaming their Eldrican counterparts for not allowing them enough free reign, especially in terms of Thundercat operations.

A) Clearly, the fools will only drag us down. Our soldiers will return to Methiant at once!
B) I must quickly write a letter of complaint to Tetan I, lest his foolish officers get us all killed!
C) I'm sure our two Armies can sort things out without political maneuvering above them.
