Plus, by having farmer scientists means you're foregoing all other, nicer traits that you can fish out.

That said, in a cooperative game I have with Solymr, our chief of scientist, Bao Lee, became immortal (can't die of old age) thanks to an shiny-orb-related event from random anomaly, then got +32 energy credits/month trait, and acrued I think 2? Society expertise traits and then some more traits by level 6.

She's basically an Immortal Chinese Alchemiss; she just needs Psionics expertise from an event or something and she will become a Wizard at that point :P

Galactic Paragons is best DLC.

Let's complain about the weather while we gear up for war!

Compared to the previous game we finished there are quite a few changes:

  • The big blob that was region of England is now split into England proper and Northumbria.
  • Capital States provide bonuses and you can move your Capital away if someone gets too close...
  • ...or you can mitigate the threat by establishing a mutually beneficial Trade Route!
  • Kings get two new traits: Shrewd and Sailor, while Indecisive is decisively gone.
  • Grain Caps on Attack and Defense are introduced, we will see how much they change for good or worse.
  • Few extra provinces on map, esp. in Northumbria.
  • Economic Victory is now possible after Turn 20.

"Well, huh, okay." Natasha grimaces for some reason, before returning to her drink.

Captain Ohagan puts down his glass, empty, sans the barely melted ice bits. He then takes out a datapad from his suit and looks at it.

"Alright. We've got like thirty minutes before we oughta leave. Ye all behave, I'm going back to the ship. And don't be late!" Samel Ohagan leaves his crew behind. The trio at the bar watch his back all the way until the gate closes after him.

"Don't be late, boo-hooh. What you gonna do old man, leave us behind?" Natasha grumbles into her drink while Gering chuckles.

"It's not like he cannot pilot the ship on his own." The woman looks at Gering with a grin.

"Yeah, but he can't mine asteroids on his own in the same time." The two clink their glasses, looking smug, while Corwyll looks, well, rather dejected and deep in thought.
