You send letters to the Singularists, asking them to settle their differences with Enyntheists at a council.

1122 AD, Midsummer

Apparently, your letter to the Singularists gained some attention and became public knowledge. The way the courtiers at the palace talk about it, the Pantheonists and the Alldivines got a little bit upset that you direct your attention only to the new faith and its heretical offshoot, and demand to be included in the talks.

Along with the Advisor, you ponder about planning an ecumenical council where the faiths could discuss their differences, compare and develop interfaith dialogue, and more.

A) No, I'm working with two cults here, I don't need interference.
B) Sure, let's invite them too, I hope I can handle them all.

You tell him that his religion is welcome to spread in Methiant as long as he does not cause trouble. He thanks you profusely and leaves to tell his associates that new era of spiritual advancement is upon them.

1122 AD, Summer

The ketton cloth caravan is at the capital! Your traders exchange the cloth for money, and then strike up some deals with local populace and the nobility.

Quote
1to3

They manage to earn some profits but only to pay off the purchase price.

Few days later you receive some alarming news from the southwest; a group of Enyntheist followers was lynched by an angry mob that shouted things like 'spies of the Gubta!' 'enemies of true faith!' 'heretics must die!' and so on. According to the guards that saved the Enyntheists from sure death, some Singularist worshippers were amongst the lynch mob but the local temple denies any accusations.

A) Truly, the Enyntheists were stirring trouble. Time to punish them!
B) Barely we passed official recognition and Singularists are stirring trouble. Time to punish them instead!
C) It seems we need to foster interfaith dialogue. Host a council, or something like that!
D) It's not my thing. If I were to intervene, people would claim its favoritism!

You decide that you're ready to judge his faith. And the judgement is as follows:

A) His faith is danger to all of Methiant, and shall be not tolerated!
B) His faith might cause conflicts, even if its harmless now. It will not be endorsed by the Crown.
C) His faith is just like many others, and should be added to the already wide roster of regional faiths.
D) His faith has intrigued me. Mayhaps I should pursue its tenets personally?

"What are your views on magic, supernatural things, and fanciful beings?" Enyn thinks about this for a looong while.

"I can't really find an answer for this."

"How so?" The heretic shrugs.

"We don't deal with supernatural and fanciful. I'm sure they have their place in the land and in the grand scheme of the world, though."

You decide to...

A) Continue!
B) Judge!

"Pardon my abstruseness, but I'm having a hard time understanding just how all this is different from Alldivine philosophy. Why are they so upset with you?"

"It is because I threaten a core tenet of their faith; development of body and honing martial skills being a requirement for spiritual advancement. It is one of their seven sacred laws. For us to promote spiritual advancement without equal devotion to one's body and combat skills is heretical to them."

You decide to...

A) Ask another question.
B) Pass your judgement.

"If all the various gods and spirits venerated around the world are but aspects and guises of this one entity, why not go on worshipping it as those so the churches stop trying to kill you?" Enyn thinks for a while about this one.

"Because they wish to wage war over their beliefs. They want to prove superiority of their concepts and their visions of what divine should be. If they instead accept our belief, all peoples will be united under one ideology, and there will be no hate and war and casualties over spiritual matters!"

You decide to...

A) Ask him yet another question.
B) Pass judgement on his sect.

//I'm merely sticking to the rules of the previous interview ;v

You ask what adherents should do in their lives.

"It is very simple. To seek knwoledge and spiritual enlightment. Once enlightment is attained, one will have answers to every question and thus will be able to solve all problems. How to attain enlightment, would one ask. If needed, by meditation or rites, association or isolation. Everyone is different, and thus needs different amount of time and different conditions to find enlightment. Months, years, decades of time. The most faithful will abandon their prior lives and fully dedicate themselves to the pursuit of enlightment, but it is something that cannot and should not be enforced."

You decide to...

A) Ask another question.
B) Pass your judgement.

You ask what kind of relationship he plans to have with the Crown and the other religions.

Enyn thinks only a moment about it.

"It is matter of religion thus I don't see a reason to meddle with politics, but I will probably have to one day to gain further support. As for other religions, I'm fine with peaceful coexistence, but it seem others aren't as inclined."

You decide to...

A) Ask another question.
B) Pass your judgment.

Ask about the planned relationship between this religious and secular authority. If and how it plans to evangelize. What it thinks about other religions. What it's adherents duties are in this life.

This one has five or six people behind it now.

I see four questions not one ;v

//Question, not questions. One at a time ;v

You ask him whether this entity might be called Haspen. Enyn looks extermely puzzled.

"I don't think it has, or needs, a name. So it has none as far as I'm concerned."

You decide to...

A) Ask another question.
B) Pass your judgment on his heresy.

You agree to the deal. The diplomat is delighted and says that the first caravan should arrive by the next Spring, if all goes smoothly.

Next to enter is Enyn, whose associates left at the doors to the throne room.

You immediately greet him and ask about his delay.

"Call my humble self paranoid, my liege, but after being declared a heretic by Alldivines, receiving your sudden invitation seemed suspicious to me so I felt that hiding for a while would be a good idea."

You then take him to the private chamber and you two sit down.

"Is this a Gubta faith?" You ask Enyn.

"Nay, sire. I was raised a Singularist but read some Alldivine scriptures, and then I had to speak with the Gubta philosophers too. From collaboration of these three, I have concluded that there is no physical gods but a greater entity that is in all things and simply is worshipped by all under various names and faces."

Interview time! Compose your question and post it; the question with most +1s will be answered in the next update.

You decide to speak with Elran's messenger first.

"Greetings, good king Cyl of Methiant!" The man draped in lilac cloak and beret bows deeply to you. "King Elran proposes an establishment of a trade deal. The lovely and luxurious ketton cloth for your peoples in return for Methiantese coin." The trade advisor leans to you and explains that ketton cloth is made from ketton puffplants, which grow only westwards from Rainbow Lizard mountains. Their fibers make a rather soft and insulating cloth that is enjoyed by craftsmen and nobles alike, and its rarity in these parts could afford a nice price for it.

A) Fine, we have the money to support a trade deal of this kind!
B) No deal, sorry.
