Quote from: Civil War Rules
Each side starts with 5 Loyalty, Treasury and Army.
You get 3 Cards per Turn and need to choose at least 1 to continue. Loyalists' Cards are always processed first.
Each 'unspent' Card will be then discarded and its Cost will be added to your current Loyalty, Treasury and/or Army stats.
Beware! Each Turn (half-year) of the Civil War after the 3rd will have progressively catastrophic consequences to the country.

Battle:
When a Card with Effect: Battle is used, a Battle shall commence. The enemy Side can use their own Cards with Effect: Battle to counter it.
If a Battle Card is not countered, the Enemy gets a penalty to Battle Score equal to half of the maximum value of the Card (for example, a 3d6 Battle Card = 18/2 = -9 Battle Score points)
If a Battle Card is countered, both dice rolls are processed; the 'losing' side gets a penalty equal to the difference between the Battle rolls (example: Pretender gets a total of 18, Loyalist gets a total of 20; Loyalists win and Pretender gets -2 to his Battle Score)
Both sides start with Battle Score equal to 0.

Civil War continues until:
A Side has any Stat (Loyalty, Treasury or Army) at 0 or below.
A Side decides to play a SURRENDER Effect Card.
A Side has a Battle Score equal or below -30.

Spoiler: ALL CARDS ROSTER (click to show/hide)

Methiantese Civil War, 1113 AD

The proud Kingdom of Methiant is engulfed in the horrid flames of civil war!

In the west, the forces of 'King' Luath conspire with the the Felonsein noblemen and agents of Eldrican to take over the throne, citing the progressing downfall of the nation in recent years, due to Yoe II's decisions, as well as vulnerability that would be Regency for Prince Cyl.

In the east, the loyalists who swore to protect the young heir, Crown Prince Cyl, are led by Queen Auvana and Duchess Segeda, who swore to protect her son's ascension, not willing to be pushed aside by Luath and his family for a second time.

Mighty battles are fought as both sides claim legitimacy and vie for the throne, the peasants and nobles alike split between the two sides, unable to choose clearly this time.

A) For King Luath, death to Segeda the Vile and her offspring!!!
B) For Crown Prince Cyl, we shall bring down Luath the Traitor!!!

You decide to sponsor the sacred Hunt and even participate in it!

A week later, you, prominent courtiers and some high-ranking military officers, accompanied by a host of huntsmen and foresters, go for the hunt to the forest between Methiant and the Hurthlings. The hunt starts early, when there are mists and little sunlight, but within an hour few small animals are caught - a promise of good haul.

You hear a gasp from one of the young officers and everyone turns toward the hill he was staring at - there he is! The noble white stag! The one and only!

A) Proclaim that the Stag is yours and give chase after it!
B) Have the finest of hunters chase and kill the fabled creature!

You decide to stay at your palace. The Army will mobilize by Spring.

1112 AD, End of the Year

It's that time of the year! The Scrolls of Kingdom Status are brought to you.

Happiness: 4
Population: 6
Economy: 4
Army: 6

The Advisor coughs. You scratch your beard.

The meeting comes to an end-

"Oh right, my liege. The scribes have finished expanding the map once again. Thanks to the soldiers stationed in Lametania, we have actually managed to learn a bit of the Damdamian territories."

1113 AD, Spring

Your Army is already in northern Cydwyl; bringing fearsome Thundercats for the first true field test of their might.

You marry your third wife, Auvena, in a modest ceremony. You quickly find that she is somewhat pretty, quiet and obedient, but fully disinterested in sharing the bed with you and shows no enthusiasm in being in centre of attention as a Queen. She has delegated herself to governance over your palatial servants.

1113 AD, Mid-Spring

First reports come from the northern battlefields; your Army and forces of Queen Dogethe, together numbering almost nine thousand, have met with over seven thousand of Helliste and Dahnian men led by Prince Etavik, who was killed (either in combat or after being captured by Dogethe's generals, your soldiers aren't sure).

Thundercats have perfomed rather well, and while they didn't seem to do much damage, they were reliable and had range and firing rate near to what your alchemists claimed. The generals of Queen Dogethe have been less than impressed however, and their orders are for Thundercats to deliver bombard fortified places rather than fight on the field.

Few days later, you receive a visit from the priests of Pantheonism.

"May the Pantheon forever bless you, good King Yoe! Our gods, even if shunned by the new faiths, have sent us omens and visions, which made us believe that, after almost a century, it is time when the Hunt for White Stag is to be held! Can we ask for your Treasury to sponsor this holy celebration and for you to partake in it, so that the Gods may favor our country?" You decide to...

A) Sponsor the hunt and take part in it.
B) Reject their request.

You decide to help Queen Dogethe subjugate the Helliste. Courtiers murmur while the Marshal stands up, his winged helmet shining.

"My liege! Shall you lead us in this glorious campaign!?" You decide to...

A) Stay at safety of the palace.
B) Lead your men to glory.

You decide to marry this Auvena they speak of.

Next comes the messenger from Queen Dogethe.

Her offer is half the amount of what she paid for services of your alchemists if the campaign is a success.

A) And that's all? My soldiers are worth much more!
B) Fine, that works for me.
C) Such petty reward is an insult! We won't be helping Queen Dogethe!

//Also: 200 pages, woo \o/

You decide to speak with your courtiers first.

"Sire! We have done as we asked, and have found you a new wife. Beautiful Auvena, from the borderlands with Lametania. She is obedient, well-educated and shall treat your children as her own. Her father is a minor noble who was elated to hear that his only daughter is being considered as your spouse. What say you?"

A) "Nah, thanks."
B) "Sure, whatevs."

You send a letter to Queen Dogethe, demanding negotiation of payment.

1112 AD, Late Winter

A messenger from Queen Dogethe is here; but your courtiers wish to speak with you first, no doubt having something important to discuss first.

A) Brethren before foreigners! I shall speak with my courtiers.
B) A great military campaign is being planned, and that takes priority.

You decide to shift the focus (and funding) of Fireblood work into new, smaller arms rather than creation of large-sized Thundercats and Blackhearts.

1112 AD, Winter

The load of silver from the new mines arrives on schedule.

1112 AD, Midwinter

You receive a messenger from Queen Dogethe with a letter adressed to you specifically.

In the letter, she invites you to a military allaince and subsequently a campaign against the Helliste which is now suffering from war with the perfide Albion. The goal of Queen Dogethe is to take control of Kingdom of Dahnia and incorporate it into her sphere of influence. If you agree to help her, she promises lots of wealth, as she knows that your economical situation is poor and money is what you would use most at the moment.

You write a reply to her...

A) Asking to negotiate the payment before you commit your forces.
B) Offering your Army's services for conquest of Dahnia!
C) Refusing to help with such a dishonorable attack.
