"Huh." Ethan looked at the map again.

"Port Omega, Demon's Grin and Demura. Yes, we will go this route." Then he looked around.

"I think we're missing few of our friends, Ashlyn?"

"Hm, yes..." Ethan took the maps and began to look over them.

Because you should use chrome.

I've been a Firefox loyalist since it had number 2 next to it, and I won't change :P

EDIT: I managed to fix most of thingies back to as they should be, tabs remain on top but I will deal with this heresy tomorrow.

Firefox Quantum just released and it even broke Classic Theme Restorer. It broke ton of add-ons I used. Nobody is like I had it set.

I can't even change tabs to not-on-top anymore.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyy

You decide to lower the taxes.

1112 AD, Spring

While your soldiers march south, the alchemists return from the north, bringing money from Queen Dogethe.

"We were able to teach the Queen's men how to create Fireblood and how to shape machines using it. She has sent with us the remainder of money agreed to in the treaty." They also bring news and rumors from the north; the bearded pirates of the Saltsand Waters, the Albionese, have launched an amphibious invasion backed by attack from the mountains, taking Kingdom of Helliste by surprise in least convenient moment for them, as recently the Hellistes had several rebellions occuring in past three years.

1112 AD, Summer

The Fireblood caravan once again arrives in the capital, and the ingredients are paid for with gemstones.

In relation to Fireblood, the alchemists, both young and old, ask for audience. The royal alchemist steps forward.

"Greetings, sire. I wouldn't interrupt your hard day at work if it weren't for the young apprentices of ours." The young men take off their greenish berets and bow to you.

They explain that they have a novel idea of smaller Fireblood machines that could be wielded by two people, or even by one strong enough person. It would require certain re-designs and most of the money currently devoted to manufacture and maintenance of Thundercats and even Blackhearts would be directed to this new project.

They apparently stumbled upon this idea after some very innovative youngsters decided that its next logical step after the huge and slow Blackhearts were replaced by Thundercats, which are smaller yet much more powerful after all.

The older alchemists believe that this would be waste of funds, especially that Thundercats' feasibility haven't been yet tested in actual war, and thus they would prefer to fund what currently works rather than run after every single idea their apprentices come up with. You listen to murmur of the audience room; it seems your courtiers agree with the older alchemists.

A) But think about it! Every soldier carrying a miniature iron tube of fire and thunder! This will be grand! We will be grand!!
B) On the other hand, we should stick to what we have and be content with that; there will be time for innovations later.

You relent and decide to station portion of your Army in Lametania; at least you get it that the Lametanians will supply and house your soldiers so they won't have to live off land and camp in tents.

First regiments will be going to Lametania by the next Spring.

1111 AD, End of the Year

Once again you're given the Scrolls of Kingdom Status to review them:

Happiness: 4
Population: 6
Economy: 3
Army: 6

"Sire, despite our efforts, we're currently still going low with the money. Shall we extend the taxation period for another year?"

A) "But of course."
B) "But we can't!"

They are insulted by this, and some shouting later its obvious you won't be getting anything out of this.

A) Fine, we will protect the Lametanians from the vile Empire.
B) Sorry, but I do not run a charity organization, friends.

You tell them to find you a new wife, then.

1111 AD, Late Winter

You receive a delegation of diplomats from Lametania; they've came here on the heels of rumors that Kingdom of Ebirus and Magraviate of Rucus has forcefully vassalized the two separatist Duchies, of Aran and Llamber, respectively.

"It is shame for our King to admit that our land is weak, but it is. He asks for the proud Methiant army to establish military presence in Lametania. King Umar was reluctant to further rely on your soldiers until now. What say you, brave and wise King Yoe of Methiant?"

A) "Sure thing, our Army shall march into Lametania right away."
B) "You want Methiant to incur the Wrath of Damdamians? No thanks, I'm not suicidal yet."
C) "What will I get out of that though?"

You order the overseer to keep it steady.

1111 AD, Midwinter

The courtiers of yours has been conspiring lately. You saw them whisper in the corners and then silently greet you as pass. Your mind grows heavy with conspiracies until that faithful day when...

"My liege." The Advisor adresses you as you finish a council discussion over which side of the Palace should be used to store old accounting ledgers.

"When do you plan to remarry? A King is only half-man without a Queen, they say."

A) "Then I shall remain a half-King forever."
B) "Then help me find me my missing half, maybe?"
C) "I'm sure by other half will show up some day, yes."

You send letters to peoples of discontent cities.

It seems that being adressed to by the monarch itself has rubbed them in a good way, and things calmed down.

First, freshly mined ore from the new mines arrives at your court! But there's also a report from the overseer; the more his miners dig in, the more ore they discover. He asks whether he is allowed to enlarge the operation and hire additional miners to speed up excavation and thus double the yearly quotas.

A) Sure, we gotta squeeze the gold (silver) cow outta milk if we are given one!
B) Let's keep it nice and steady to have a stable source of income for longer time.

You decide to simply let them pass.

You later learn they've passed along the border and then move north-eastwards along the mountains, and none of your subjects saw those centaurs again.

1111 AD, Summer

Fireblood caravan reaches your capital and leaves with gemstones, as usual.

1111 AD, Autumn

There are reports of multiple gatherings in south and west; the commoners are expressing their anger about higher taxation and the recent upheavals. They demand that taxes be lowered and excess wealth be returned by your collectors!

A) Damned peasant rabble! Time for our soldiers to show up there and rattle some sabers at the commoners!
B) Fine, let's overturn our decision from the start of the year.
C) Scribble some letters in which you ask them to calm down, for the good of their beloved Kingdom.

You send the messenger back, offering the Centaurs to stay in Methiant.

Next week you learn that, by either inediptude of the messenger or some other reasons, they do not wish to stay.

A) Nag them more.
B) Let them pass, if they pay first.
C) Let them pass.

C, maybe we can get a new queen (and a long-lasting line of minotaurs for princes)!

Not sure which biology book gets you bull people out of horse people but I don't actually wanna know :P

You send some negotiators to talk with the centaurs.

A week later you receive a messenger; the Centaurs are wandering here becasue the elves of Tisilenteliya Forest are growing much more antagonistic as of late, and many a centaur tribe decided to leave the forest of their ancestors and seek new herding grounds. Most ventured to the distant, flat north or populated steppes of the west, but few tiny tribes decided to go east and eventually, after wandering the Empty Plains, ended up in Methiant and Cydwyl.

They wish to obtain passage through your lands, as the old centaur tales speak of grandiose land of lush forests and sparkling waters "in the east".

A) And that land is Methiant! Welcome them in and offer them a reservoir or a glade or something they can stay in.
B) Sure, they can pass as long as they won't stir any trouble.
C) What do I get from letting them pass? They should first back their request with gifts!

You decide to raise taxes, if only for a year.

1111 AD, Spring

You receive a letter from the new mine's administrator; they will have ore brought to the palace by the Winter.

1111 AD, Mid-Spring

"The what now?"

"Centaurs, my liege! Half horses, half men - and woman - have appeared in the lands bordering the Rainbow Lizards Mountains! They travel in packs, and so far has harassed several travelers and assaulted briefly one small village, stealing some sheep and chickens." You decide to...

A) Make this a fine test for your Army and send it to eradicate the pesky equines!
B) Ignore the centaurs for now, maybe they will go away.
C) Send someone to negotiate or at least talk to these fanciful, hooved folk.
