You decide to send relief money and supplies to Luathbas city for next few years.

1107 AD, Late Summer

The caravan of Fireblood supplies, a bit late, arrives in your Palace. The Eldrican merchants take your gemstones happily.

1107 AD, Autumn

Ula, is her name. The name of your newborn bastard daughter.

You thank the Spymaster for the report and dismiss him...

A) Back to his work.
B) With a love letter to Deatha.
C) With ancient royal dress as gift for Deatha.

"Ashlyn." Ethan moved up to one of his crewmates.

"I remember correctly you have the map the Abbess gave us?"

You quickly ask the Spymaster to have Deatha removed from the palace and that a small, cozy home is to be found for her, the few expenses taken care of.

1107 AD, Summer

The greatest, or mayhaps most overcomplicated, nation in the south has just been born: Holy Damdamian Empire.

The despotic rulers of the Imperial part of the nation torn by the civil war finally reached an agreement with their republican, plutocratic counterparts. They have established a charter for domains and kingdoms and states and duchies and margraviates or whatever is the names.

In the Holy Damdamian Empire, there will be an 'Imperial Domain', directly ruled by the current Emperor, Aurius Messus, and his descendants. He will be ultimate authority in matters of the law and military, but that's it. All the rest of Damdamia will be split into Duchies, Margraviates and States.

Duchies are domains of those of Damdamian politicians who embrace the idea of hereditary, aristocratic rule. There are only several such domains, established for the wealthiest and most powerful of Senators, who supported the Imperial front of the fifty-years long conflict.

Margraviates are few special territories, bordering certain nations, and said Marches will be heavily fortified (one such March, the Margraviate of Rucus, borders the Lametanian domains just south of Methiant). Their rulers will wield considerably more military power than otherwise equal Dukes.

States are domains where plutocrat councils are in power. These will carry on the republican spirit of the Damdamia, although their construction, specific laws and elective process are up to them. Most of them are in the centre and south-east of Damdamia, where populous cities, prosperous mines and bontiful plantations and farms lie.

While all these little states and duchies and whatnots have certain degree of autonomy, they ultimately report to the Emperor. The guarantee of unity between the monarchic and republican lords and politicians will be the Cult of Damed; the Emperor is no longer the highest religious authority nor considered 'Avatar of Damed'. The Cult will carry on the culture of Damdamians and keep the domain stable, but all the territories have to uphold the Cult's religious superiority, and help spread the 'only true Faith' outside the Empire (with either scriptures or swords).

This all has been explained to you via a letter from one of your southernmost administrators, who keeps a relationship with certain noble lady of Lametania, who kept tabs on the conflict for past few years.

Your courtiers are rather upset at this, because united and stable Damdamia is Damdamia that turns its eyes toward its neighbours, and never in history that has been a good thing. Thus, the Spymaster's agents shall concentrate their efforts on the south for a (possibly long) while.

1107 AD, Midsummer

Terrible disaster occured in Luathbas; the crowded, overbuilt city fell victim for a fire. In but one night, the fire spread across most of the city, destroying hundreds of buildings and killing thousands of your subjects. A week later, the city was mostly ruined and its people have nothing to begin their lives anew. The governor of Luathbas begs the Crown to donate relief money and supplies immediately.

You decide to...

A) Write an inspirational letter in which you explain that you have faith in the ability of citizens of Luathbas to carry on and rebuild with naught but their willpower and hardiness.
B) Refuse to support the relief efforts, citing lack of funds to properly do so.
C) Send a single caravan of money and supplies, but nothing more.
D) Establish yearly donations for next five years - a huge city like Luathbas won't rise from ashes with a single donation, after all.

You decide to raise the taxes for a year.

1107 AD, Spring

Out of nowhere, one evening, the Spymaster bumps into you.

"Good evening, my liege. I bring news that might interest you."

"Oh?"

"A certain lady, from the northlands, who is working at your castle, is expecting a child." It takes you few moments before you realized what he means. You decide to...

A) Remove Deatha from the palace and arrange a cozy house for her somewhere in the capital city.
B) Ask the healers to get rid of the child.
C) Hastily arrange to make her your newest Queen.
D) Arrange for Deatha to disappear. Permamently.

You send a reply in which you demand that this stain on honor be fixed with proper monetary compensation.

1106 AD, End of the Year

The scrolls are brought to you as tradition dictates.

Happiness: 6
Population: 7
Economy: 3
Army: 4

"Sire, our Treasury is slowly emptying. Shall we raise taxes again?"

A) "Nay."
B) "Yea."

The Muscovy has been fragmented and split into Novgorod. The once united behemoth that was Scandinavia now has lost its Sweden and Norway-Iceland. The erstwhile ally Great Britain has collapsed into rebelling colonies and several islander duchies. The muslim super-state of Persia was shattered in three. Portuguese and Flanders colonies taken or liberated.

In the turbulent 19th century filled with wars, rebellions and revolutionary movements, only the Holy Roman Empire, controlled by Hapsburg dynasty forever, stands strong.

Long live the Kaiser!

Ok, where did you get them awesome graphics (and otherwise) :O I've been DYING to find some good EU3 Mods, but those usually for In Nomine (like Terra Nova -_-) are either really bad in writing what goes where to avoid crashes upon game start, or hard to even find the right, latest updated mod version on a good mod site -.-

500 years and no one's bothered to explore the ocean off the coast of greenland.
The Empire ate Portugal and all the things west, I bet? :P

Tiruin this is basic graphics for Divine Wind, I don't use any graphical mods v;

As for west, no: Louisiana and Canada control most of US mainland, USA is republican dictatorship hugging Manhattan, and Mexico stretches from US West Coast to, well, Mexico, where Minamoto, Zapotec, Venezuela and Haiti are jumbled all together. South America is dominated by Hansa, Flanders, Paraguay and La Plata. Only Alaska and Hudson Bay is european - cuz I inherited them from Spain and Oldenburg respectively ;v

Your sponsor another expedition into southeast, this one is gonna have less negotiatiors and haulers, and more enforcers and bodyguards.

1106 AD, Mid-Autumn

Quote
4*

According to your agents, the governors in the north grumbled about your decision but managed to rein your subjects in. Luckily, this seems to have calmed down the Hurthlings as well, as no further incidents have been reported so far.

1106 AD, Winter

A letter has arrived via messenger from King Calahan III of Ceodwell.

The letter is short and concise; in it, King Calahan III declares that any proposals and marriage arrangements between his Kingdom and Kingdom of Methiant are null and void, as he does not wish to have your children influence his relatives - especially that his predecessor's 'son' has been found actually a bastard and also face-down in a swamp outside the Ceodwellian capital. Accidents happen.

A) This is an insult to my family! Calahan III better pay for this in silver, or else!
B) Fine with me, he can marinate in his isolation all he wants.
C) If words written on a paper mean so little to him, let's see how much he cares about words written upon our UNSHEATHED SWORDS!

WHo's that one on the left?

I shall call her Lady Commander ;v

Shes just a girl in winter clothing.  But now that you mention it the double button jacket does look similar to old officer uniforms.

Lady Commander of the 1st Armored Polar Bear Cavalry Unit, then!

You send orders to the governors, asking them to rein the unruly peasants as you're dealing here with a bit sensitive little peoples there.

Next is the group of merchants who were trying to make a route through the southern mountains.

"My liege! Our expedition has been a disaster, and we lost so many goods and loyal workers." They bemoan their losses for a while before they get to important points.

"Orcs, always a nuisance, has been living in the centre of the mountains and have raided the caravan three times. The survivors then stumbled into the Damdamian Republic or the lands of Gubta, but wars and chaos prevented them from coming back until lately. The Crown agreed to sponsor out expedition, yes, but our losses still need to be covered, good King!"

You decide to...

A) Cover their losses by the way of sponsoring another expedition to the Gubta.
B) Toss some money at them so they get lost.
C) Order them out as you won't be spending more money on this foolish endeavour.
